Grading Policy: Homework Midterm Final Exam 30% 30% 40%

Notes: Homework: Homework problems from the text will be assigned in class. The due date will be announced with the assignment. There is a 30% late penalty per class day on homework. The lowest homework score will be dropped. Homework must be the students own work. Midterm: The midterm will be given during the first hour of class and is closed notes, closed book. Final Exam: The final exam is comprehensive and is closed notes, closed book. According to the Registrars Final Examination Schedule, the final exam is scheduled two days after the last class. Attendance is not required but highly recommended. It is the students responsibility to find out what material was missed or assignments given if unable to attend class. Makeup exams require that appropriate documentation be provided ahead of time and are up to the discretion of the instructor. Communication: Information regarding the course will be posted on Carmen. Email may also be sent out to the entire class from Carmen which uses your OSU email address. Please make sure that you are checking your OSU email account or that you have your email forwarded.
