The instructions related to the admissions are given here, which are authorized under the
Act, Ordinances, Rules & Regulations of the University.

Gap Certificate: If there is gap in taking admission after Intermediate, then a certificate by
the Notary on Rs. 10.00 Stamp paper is compulsory to be sent along with the online print
out of the admission form.

If you want weightage or reservation, then send the related certificates along with the print
out of the Online application form. No candidate will get the permission for any change in
weightage or reservation after the form is deposited.

After declaration of the merit list a copy of the list will be displayed on the University notice
board/website. The candidate himself/herself will find his/her merit number from the merit
list. The merit list will not be published in the newspaper.

The admission procedure will start after the declaration of the merit list. The detailed

Important notice for the candidates of scheduled caste and scheduled tribes:
During admission process, candidates on the selected and waiting list of scheduled caste
and scheduled tribes will bring the original and attested photocopies of the Income

The scheduled caste, scheduled tribes and other backward class candidates originally
belonging to Uttar Pradesh will be given the benefit of reservation. Scheduled castes,
scheduled tribes and other backward class candidates of other states will be treated as
general.

indulge in incidents like ragging during studentship.

Those SC/ST, OBC candidates who are selected in open list may appear for councelling
alongwith the general (Open listed) candidates. These candidates (SC/ST, OBC candidates)
will not be allowed to appear for councelling alongwith the selected list of the reserved
category candidates.

For getting sports and handicapped weightage/ reservation, candidate will have to be
present before the sports/medical board between 23rd June to 25th June, 2011 at A.P. Sen
Hall, Lucknow University. The candidate, who does not appear before these boards, will not
be provided the sports and handicapped weightage/ reservation for admission.

Please ensure your presence positively when your name/serial number is called for
counselling, failing which your claim for admission shall stand forfeited. The University of
Lucknow will not be responsible for retaining seats for candidates turning up late for the
