Mode Scenes: The beginning: (The following clip shows flashbacks to what happened in the first Tetris Attack game.) Narrator: In Yoshi's last adventure, Bowser and his 3 cronies were planning to flood the world. And Yoshi has tooken down Bowser... for now. (We see stormy clouds, the camera goes down, and we see a place called The Cave Of Antagonists. Now, we see Bowser teaming up with his old 3 cronies and with 41 new ones you might remember.) And now, Bowser has hired new team members to take our hero down once and for all. Bowser: Okay, you might wonder why you are all here. I want you all to take down one troublemaking dinosaur that always ruins my plans. (Shows a portrait of Yoshi.) It's Yoshi! I hate that dinosaur! (James of Team Rocket raises his hands.) Yes? James: How do we get rid of this Yoshi you might call? Bowser: The usual as I do! Corderia: So, like we battle him in Tetris Attack? Bowser: That's right! That way, Yoshi will never take us down! (Every villian cackles to get rid of our dinosaur once and for all.) (Our next scene involves Yoshi and his old buddies hanging in the beach.) Yoshi: Wow, I still can't believe we kicked out Bowser for good. Lunge Fish: Yeah, but could you keep it down for a little bit? I'm trying to sleep. Yoshi: Okay, Lunge Fish. Narrator: Yoshi thought Bowser was finished, until... he got a call from a girl. Yoshi: Hey, Lakitu, pass the bananas, will you... (Yoshi's cellphone rings.) Hmm? Seems like a call for trouble. I'll take care of it. (Yoshi calls on his cellphone.) Hello, this is Yoshi, your heroic dinosaur speaking, how can I help you? (Yoshi drinks his coconut juice.) Haruka (voice on phone): Yoshi, can you hear me? My name is Haruka Amami, and I have some bad news! Bowser and his cronies are back, and they are said to kick you out once and for all! (Yoshi does a spittake.) Yoshi: WHAT!?!? Bowser is back!?!? (Yoshi's friends were not pleased to hear this. They run to him on the cellphone.) Poochy: Arf, arf, is it true? Gargantua Blargg: It can't be! Bumpty: Is he really back? Yoshi: What's happening? Why is Bowser back? Haruka (voice on phone): He's planned to give you a taste of your own medicine you're never gonna forget! Yoshi: What!? Well, that Bowser is getting on my nerves! Don't worry, Haruka, I'll be right there! Haruka (voice on phone): Okay! Thanks! (kiss, Yoshi hangs up) Yoshi: Guys, I can't believe Bowser is back. I guess we're going to teach him a

lesson once and for all! Lakitu: Of course! Bumpty: We'll take him down again! Rapheal The Raven: Caww, caww, we'll help you out, promise! Flying Wiggler: And I'm really gonna pulverize that Bowser again! Yoshi: Thanks, guys! Now come on! (Yoshi and his old friends make a run in the beach.) Narrator: And so, a new adventure begins... (Fade to black.) Stage 1, beginning to face Haruka: (Yoshi and his friends are running to Haruka.) Yoshi: So, you must be Haruka Amami, right? Haruka: Of course! I've called you on the phone, did I? Yoshi: Okay, yes, you did. I know exactly how to have people join me, battle me! Haruka: Okay! Stage 1 Epilouge, defeating Haruka: Haruka: Oh... (sniffling) Yoshi: What's wrong? Haruka: Losing... to you. How sad! Yoshi: Hey, don't be sad. You can join us, remember? Haruka: Oh. Right. (giggles) Yoshi: Well, come on! Let's see who is my next opponent so we can take down Bowser once and for all! (Yoshi and his friends and Haruka run off.) Stage 2, beginning to face Chihaya: (Yoshi, his friends, and Haruka, run to Chihaya.) Yoshi: Hi! Chihaya: Oh, hi, there! My name is Chihaya Kisaragi! I'm happy to meet you! Yoshi: The name's Yoshi! Would you like to join me? Chihaya: I wish I could, but I have to battle you in Tetris Attack. Yoshi: Okay! Bring it on! Stage 2 Epilouge, defeating Chihaya: Chihaya: Oh... you beat me. Yoshi: Told you I was stronger. Guess it just goes to show you, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." Chihaya: Very well. I shall join you on your journey. (shakes hands with Yoshi.) Yoshi: Thank you. Now come on, let's see who's next. (Yoshi, his friends, Haruka, and Chihaya run off.) Stage 3, beginning to battle Yukiho: (Yoshi, his friends, Haruka, and Chihaya run to Yukiho.) Yoshi: Hi. What's wrong? Feeling shy?

Yukiho: Yeah. Yoshi: I'm Yoshi. You? Yukiho: I'm... I'm Yukiho Hagiwara. I wanna accept your challenge. Yoshi: Okay! Let's go! Stage 3 Epilouge, defeating Yukiho: Yukiho: Oh... you won. Yoshi: Yep. I sure did, didn't I? (mimicking the Popeye laughter.) Yukiho (giggles): You're so cute. Poochy: Did you hear that? She called you cute! Yoshi: Don't embarass me. Okay, Yukiho, welcome to the team! Yukiho: Thanks! Yoshi: Okay, come on! Let's continue our quest to try to kick Bowser for good! (Yoshi, his friends, Haruka, Chihaya, and Yukiho run off.) Stage 4, beginning to face off with Yayoi: (Yoshi runs to Yayoi.) Yoshi: Hi! (The others come on the scene, but look exhausted.) Yayoi: Hi, there! I'm Yayoi Takatsuki, 14 years old, and I love to play baseball! Yoshi: The name is Yoshi! I'm happy to meet you! Yayoi: I'm so happy to meet you too! Yoshi: Yayoi, ready to battle in Tetris Attack? Yayoi: Of course! I'm always ready! Let's do it! Stage 4 Epilouge, defeating Yayoi: Yayoi (scratching head): Well, that was... interesting. Yoshi: Yep. Well, welcome to the team! Wanna help me take down Bowser? Yayoi: Sure! We're friends! I love to help out! Yoshi: Great! Come on! (Yoshi, his friends, Haruka, Chihaya, Yukiho, and Yayoi run off.) Stage 5, beginning to battle Ritsuko: (Ritsuko is looking at a book while Yoshi, his friends, and 4 of the new characters run to her.) Ritsuko: Oh. I've been expecting you, Yoshi. Yoshi: How did you know my name? Ritsuko: Well, Haruka called you, right? Yoshi: Well, yeah. Ritsuko: Okay, allow me to introduce myself, the name is Ritsuko Akizuki. We can't stand here doing nothing! (Everyone runs off with Ritsuko.) Stage 6, preparing for a battle with Azusa: (Everybody runs to Azusa.) Yoshi: Well, I'll be! Who's that? Haruka: Her name is Azusa Miura. She's 21. Yoshi: Well, I'm Yoshi! Nice to meet you, Azusa! Azusa: You too! I've been expecting you for a battle. Yoshi: Okay! Let's do it! Stage 6 Epilouge, defeating Azusa: Azusa: Oh, dear... how could this be? Okay... I guess I should now join you on your quest to take down that big mean turtle. Yoshi: Um... it's Bowser. Yoshi: Well, of course you did. So, wanna join the group? Makoto: Okay! I can join you! Yoshi: Well, thanks! Come on! (Everyone runs off with Makoto.) Stage 9, fighting Ami and Mami: (Everybody runs to Ami and Mami.) Iori: Hi, Ami! Yayoi: Hi, Mami! Yoshi: Ami? Mami? I guess they're twins. Well, kind of. I'm Yoshi! Ami: Hi, Yoshi! Mami: Hello! I challenge you to a Tetris Attack duel! Ai: Oh? You wanna challenge me? Yoshi: Of course! Now let's do this! Ai: All right! Stage 11 Epilouge, defeating Ai: Ai: Oh... I guess that's it. Yoshi: Yep. Sorry, pal. Ai: So, now what? Yoshi: You gotta join me on the team! Ai: Oh! Well, I hope I do a great job defeating Bowser! Yoshi: No worries. You will. Now come on, let's roll! Okay, I guess that wasn't big of a battle. Yoshi: Okay. Well, guess you gotta join us now! Ryo: Okay. Let's go! (Everyone runs off with Ryo.) Stage 14, beginning to battle Takane: (Everyone runs to Takane.) Yoshi: Well, I'll be! She your friend, Iori? Iori: Yes. Her name is Takane. Takane: Hello, there. Yoshi: Hi! I'm Yoshi! Very well, I am now gonna join you on your quest to take down Bowser! Yoshi: Yay! Is that everybody? Haruka: Yep! The whole crew is here! (Bumpty looks at a video tape.) Bumpty: Hmm? A video tape? Yoshi: Let's see. (Yoshi picks up the video tape. Gasps.) This must be the work of

Bowser! (Yoshi gets a portable TV out with a VCR insert. Yoshi inserts in the tape. Bowser and his cronies are there, even the new ones are there too.) It's Bowser! Froggy: Ribbit, ribbit, he's back! Yoshi: That nasty fiend, what does he want this time? Bowser: Bwa ha ha ha ha ha! Yoshi, long time no see! I seen you've made new friends! Well, me and my crew made 41 new enemies, making us a total of 45 enemies! Yoshi: WHAT!?!?!? 45 enemies? Man, that must be a lot! (Haruka realizes that Project Jupiter is there too.) Haruka: Ehh? Project Jupiter is there too!? Yoshi: Jupiter? Man, this will be tough. Bowser: Yoshi, if you want me to bring peace back to the world, you must challenge Corderia as your final opponent! Meet us at the Cave of Antagonists, if you dare... (Bowser laughs with the other 44 members of the crew. TV goes static. Yoshi turns it off.) Yoshi: 45 enemies? How am I gonna take them down? Chihaya: Don't you remember? You got us! Yoshi: Oh, yes. Right. Well, come on! Let's go enter the Cave Of Antagonists, and get rid of Bowser, Corderia, and all the others! Let's do this to Bowser one last time! (Yoshi and the crew run off to go to the Cave Of Antagonists. They make an entrance there.) Haruka: You ready? Yoshi: Ready. Let's see who is first. (Yoshi and the crew go in to find out who's gonna be Yoshi's first boss opponent.) Stage 16, beginning to face off with Hookbill The Koopa: (Yoshi and the gang are walking in the inside of the Cave Of Antagonists.) Yoshi: Man. This place is creepy. Iori: Yeah, I don't like the looks of this. Lunge Fish: Yeah, this place is really gonna creep me out to death. (Two shoes are seen. But it's Hookbill the Koopa!) Hookbill: Wh-wh-who goes there? Yoshi: Hookbill! Lakitu: You're back! Hookbill: I've s-s-seen you've m-m-made new friends. Pr-pr-prepare t-to get a st-ststomping of your lifetime. Yoshi: I'll give you one first! Stage 16 Epilouge, beating Hookbill: Hookbill: H-h-h-how did I lose to Yoshi? (evaporating away.) N-n-no!!!! Yoshi: Yes! He's gone! Haruka: Wow, that was good! Yoshi: Thank you! Well, now that Hookbill the Koopa is down, who's next? (Yoshi and the gang run off.)

Stage 17, beginning to battle Navel Piranha: (Yoshi and the gang are running, but they screech to a halt as they meet Navel the Pirahna.) Yoshi: Navel! Navel: Well, little lizard, I see you've made new friends! Chihaya: Yes! And we're very nice to Yoshi! Navel: Well, looks like I got a big buffet, and that's all of you! Yoshi: No! I predict that that will happen! Navel, you'll be done for this time! Stage 17 Epilouge, defeating Navel: Navel: What? How can this be? Have I lost? (fading away.) Aakk!!! Yoshi: Yes! I've tooken Navel down! Yukiho: Wow, you're really brave, even when you face disgusting creatures. Yoshi: Of course I am. No one ever beats me! Now, let's go see who's next! (Yoshi and the gang run off.) Stage 18, beginning to face Kamek: (Yoshi and the gang are walking in the Cave Of Antagonists.) Kamek (voiceover, voice through cave): Well, well, well! Look who's back! Yoshi: That voice... it can't be! (Kamek flies to our hero and his friends.) Kamek! You again!? Kamek: Yep! Well, seems like you've made new pals! Yoshi: Yes! And they care for me, right, girls? All girls: Yes! We do! Yoshi: With me, my old friends, and my new ones, you'll never beat me this time! Kamek: Well, I wouldn't say that! Yoshi: Grr... let's do it! Stage 18 Epilouge, defeating Kamek: Kamek: Grr... (evaporating.) Next time, I'll get you!!! Yoshi: Well, that takes care of him! Ritsuko: Nice job, Yoshi! Yoshi: Thanks! Now, let's see who's next! (Yoshi and the gang run off.) Stage 19, facing off with Phoenix: (Yoshi and the gang are walking. They hear a screech. It was Phoenix!) Yoshi: Who are you? Phoenix: Caww, caww, caww, caww!!! Caww!!! Yoshi: What? What did you say? Ritsuko: I know what he's saying. He's saying, "My name is Phoenix, and I'm here to kick your butt". Yoshi: Well, Phoenix, if you wanna kick my butt, I'll kick yours!

Stage 19 Epilouge, defeating Phoenix: Phoenix (evaporating): CAWW!!!!! Yoshi: Arrivederci, birdie! Ritsuko: You know, I think he was trying to say is, "I'll be back!!!" Yoshi: Really? I didn't know that. Well, let's go see who's next! (Yoshi and the gang run off.) Stage 20, battling Dragon: (Yoshi and the gang are walking.) Yoshi: Okay, who's next? (A roar is heard. Its voice goes through the cave.) Whoa. I really gotta get some lunch. Poochy: Woof, I don't think it wasn't your stomach. (Dragon comes in!) Dragon: Roar! Roar, roar, roar, roar, roar! Yoshi: Okay, Ritsuko, what is this dragon trying to say? Ritsuko: Okay, he's saying, "I am Dragon. Accept me to a Tetris Attack duel, or else become Barbecued Yoshi for dinner!" Yoshi (Speaking to Dragon): Oh, really? You want me to become dinner? I don't think so! I think we can change the course of this meal by putting Barbecued Dragon for breakfast! I hope you're hungry! Stage 20 Epilouge, defeating Dragon: Dragon (evaporating): ROAR!!!!! Yoshi: Was Dragon trying to say something, Ritsuko? Ritsuko: Nope. He just roar his way to obvilion. Loser. Yoshi: Yeah. All right, who's up next? (Yoshi and the gang run off.) Stage 21, battling Lion: (Yoshi and the gang continue their walk in the Cave Of Antagonists. Yoshi is beginning to sweat.) Yoshi: Whew. Is it hot in here, or is it just me? (Poochy sees a lion made out of fire. It's Lion!) Poochy: I believe he's the one! Lion: Who are you? Say your name! Yoshi: I am Yoshi. I am here to bring peace back to the world! Lion: Well, you're gonna go have to go through me first! Yoshi: Bring it! Stage 21 Epilouge, Lion turns into Kain and he joins you: Yoshi: Yes! You're down from the count, and... what's going on with you? (Lion is transforming to his true form. It's Kain.) Poochy: Wow! He's no lion anymore! He's a man! Yoshi: Who are you!? Kain: I am Kain! Can I please join you? Yoshi: Well, what do you think, Haruka?

Haruka: Okay! Well, sure! We always like making new friends, so, why not? Yoshi: Welcome aboard, Kain! Kain: Thanks! Now, let's go! Yoshi: Okay! (Yoshi and the gang with the new member, Kain, run off.) Stage 22, battling Kickchop: (Yoshi and the gang continue their walk.) Yoshi: I wonder who's next? (Kickchop flies his way to Yoshi and his friends.) Wha!? Who are you? Kickchop: I'm Kickchop! Seems you're a Yoshi! Well, I like barbecued Yoshi! For dinner! Yoshi: Do we have to go through this again? Okay, Kickchop! Let's do it! Stage 22 Epilouge, defeating Kickchop: Kickchop: Do not worry. I'll be back! (flies away.) Yoshi: What? He didn't evaporate? Man... that was a good battle. Ritsuko: I know. Well, come on! Let's go find who the next opponent is! (Yoshi and his buddies run off.) Stage 23, fighting Joker: (Yoshi and his friends are walking. They meet with Joker.) Yoshi: I am guessing you are the Joker, right? Joker: Oh. You remembered me because of my suit. Yoshi: That's right! Well, let's do this! Joker: Okay! Stage 23 Epilouge, defeating Joker: Joker (evaporating): Nooo!!! Yoshi: Hasta la bye bye, sucker! Kain: Well, Yoshi, you were really good. Yoshi: Thanks. Man, I've taken down 8 enemies. Well, one was a good guy after all. Okay, let's go see who's next! (Yoshi and the gang run off.) Stage 24, battling Will and his Jynx: (Yoshi and his friends run to meet with Will.) Yoshi: Well, who are you? Will: I am Will. Can you take down my Jynx, Yoshi? (Will pulls out a Pokeball. He throws it. What comes out is a Jynx.) Yoshi: Jynx! Well, I can take it down easy! Let's do this! Stage 24 Epilouge, defeating Will's Jynx: (Jynx fainted. Will calls back Jynx to send it back to its Pokeball.) Will: Well, Yoshi, I must say, you were good. Yoshi: Well, thanks!

Will: Well, go on. Your next challenger awaits. (Will walks off.) Yoshi: Well, he's down. Who's up next!? (Yoshi dashes off. The gang catches up.) Stage 25, beginning to battle Koga and his Crobat: (Yoshi and his friends run to meet with Koga.) Koga: Greetings, little one. Yoshi: What? Who are you calling little? I'm Yoshi! Koga: I am Koga. Do you choose to battle my Crobat? (He sends out Crobat.) Yoshi: Of course! I'm always ready to battle! Koga: Very well. Let's test your skill. Stage 25 Epilouge, defeating Koga and his Crobat: (Crobat fainted. Koga returns Crobat in its Pokeball.) Yoshi: Well, I guess you lose. Koga: Don't get too excited, little one. You still have more challengers waiting for you. Go on. The next one awaits. (Koga walks off.) Yoshi: Well, I better find out who's next! (Yoshi and the gang run off.) Stage 26, battling Bruno and Hitmontop: (Yoshi and his friends run to meet with Bruno. He's concentrating.) Bruno: Hmm? Yoshi. I've sense you've come. Yoshi: Of course. (Bruno stands up.) Stage 26 Epilouge, defeating Bruno and his Hitmontop: (Hitmontop fainted. Bruno sends it back in its Pokeball.) Bruno: Very well, Yoshi. You win. Yoshi: Sorry, that's how the cookie crumbles. (She sends out her Mukrow.) Yoshi: A Mukrow, huh? This shall be a piece of cake! Let's go! Stage 27 Epilouge, defeating Karen and Mukrow: (Mukrow faints. Karen returns it in its Pokeball.) Karen: Wow, Yoshi. Nice battle.

Yoshi: Well, thank you, it was my pleasure! Karen: Well, I guess you can move on. (Karen walks off.) Yoshi: Okay. Well, I wonder who's gonna be next. (Yoshi and his friends run off.)
