GRAMMAR MODULE Simple Past Tense Simple Present Tense

Usage 1. show a repeated or habitual action - I walk to school. -We go to bed early. 2. show a known fact - The sun rises in the east. -It rains during the monsoon season. 3. show an activity that has been planned. -The show starts at 7.00 pm. -My parents arrive next week . 4. give orders or instructions. -Stop talking. -Study hard. # Singular noun She lives in Kuala Krai. Plural noun We live in Kuala Krai. Usage 1. show a past action. - I went to Penang last week. - We played football yesterday. 2. past habits. - She always kept her promises. - We often went fishing.

Past Continuous Tense


The Past Continuous Tense shows an action that was going on in the past. It is formed by was / were + verb + ing. -I was writing. - Natasha was dancing. Present Continuous Tense
