Announcement and Call for Paper
Rapid growth of world population has brought along the unavoidable and critical increase in the demand of energy consumption. The regional conference serves as a platform for presenting new and emerging technologies in the various areas of new and renewable energy and how such technologies are utilized in the industry and appropriated to the community to create high socio economic impact. In accordance to this, all intellectuals both inside and outside AUN/SEED-Net network are welcomed to contribute to this regional conference academically and practically.

Abstract and Paper Submissions

All papers are requested to submit in English in both PDF and MS Word format via email to rcnre2011@hcmut.edu.vn/ or rcnre2011@gmail.com. Abstract submissions should include title of paper, contact detail, research background, results and conclusions. Abstracts and papers selection will be based on the reviewing of abstracts by international scientific committee.

General chairman: Presentation, Proceeding and CD-ROM o Prof. Phan Dinh Tuan Official language at the conference is English. The selections of presentations depend on contents of Organizing chair: paper. Proceedings will be published in CD-ROM format with ISBN number and will be provided at o Prof. Le Chi Hiep the conference. A hard copy for the proceedings will be available at an additional charge. The conference fee includes the cost of admission to all technical sessions, banquet, lunches, refreshments, CRROM and conference kit. Registration fee is waived for all AUN/SEEDNet related participants. Also, two or three selected papers from the 4th RCNRE will be invited to submit full length, journal-quality paper for review. If accepted, it will be published in ASEAN Engineering Journal supported by JICA Project for AUN/SEED-Net.

Regional Conference on New and Renewable Energy

Regional Conference on New and Renewable Energy is a place where faculty members in MIs and JSPs review the progress of research carried out by graduate students of AUN/SEED-Net and MIs under the Collaborative Research Program on new and renewable energy field. The regional conference is also a venue to discuss the most updated technology and the research of regional issues and public interests in order to contribute to the community and to draw support from the industrial and the governmental sectors. The regional conferences have already held by Institute Technology of Bandung in March 2009; Burapha University in January 2010; and University Sains Malaysia in October 2010.
