Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 06/06/2011 16:40:57 He's a travel writer (books and magazines) from San Francisco and his doing a book about mountains in North America (he took pictures of Whistler mountain). There's a girl across the street staring at him and Nick doesn't know her; she was about twenty-five and very pretty. Nick wasn't sure of what she was doing. The girl comes across, puts her bag (half opened) on Nick's table and greets him. Her name is Jan: she claims their met eachother at a party in Toronto.

Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 06/06/2011 16:54:56 Nick is sure they didn't meet in Toronto but it could have been Montral or New York. Nick invites her a coffee and asks what she is doing there; she answers reluctantly, travelling through. Her face looks worried and she looks across the road where there's a very short grey haired man, quite tall and thin and about sixty years old. Jan asks about Nick's next destination, Vancouver and he's living later in the morning. Nick sees a letter in her half-opened bag and manages to make up some of the words: "Vancouver" and a phrase " (...) and we can meet at the Empress Hotel, Victoria, Vancouver Island, on Friday afternoon(...)" Jan asks him if he likes movies and says she knows a man that likes that too and his nicknamed Mr. Hollywood.

Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 06/06/2011 17:01:35 She asks him if she can call him like that but Nick doesn't know how to call her, she says "Mystery girl". The white haired man came to the cafe and sat near them, opened a magazine and started reading. Nick asks her if she knows him, which she denies. She seems in a hurry, takes his face in her hands and kisses him on the lips and says "Drive carefully Mr. Hollywood". She leaves the caf and walks down the road to a big hotel. Nick was puzzled. He finishes his breakfast, picks up his camera and walks to his car, which was near the girl's hotel. The white-haired man waits for a couple of minutes and starts following Nick.

Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 06/06/2011 17:07:21 Nick gets into his car, blue, and the white-haired man, fifty yards away waits for him to do so and then he gets into his, red, while the mysterious girl watches the scene from her hotel room window high up the street. She smiles. Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 24/06/2011 02:00:37 Nick has brown eyes. He worries about the mysterious girl and the reasons behind her awkward behavior. He went to Gastown to eat at a restaurant. Nick liked to walk through Gastown and Chinatown, looking in the shops and watching the people. While waiting to cross the street,a tall woman in a blue dress stood next to him and engaged in a conversation.

A green car almost run him over but stopped really close to Nick's head. Nick turned around to see who had pushed him and managed to see a man's back; he was tall and thin

and had grey hair. The man walk into the crowd and vanished.

Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 24/06/2011 02:09:40 Nick didn't have an easy rest, he couldn't fall asleep. He opened one of the hotel's magazines to read and saw a picture of Mystery Girl. She was next to a man of about fifty-five and they were in the garden of a big house, smiling and looking very happy. The man's name was Howard Hutson, a millonaire, and he stood next to his daughter, Meg.

Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 24/06/2011 13:52:03 Nick stayed in his hotel room all morning and wrote about mountains. In the afternoon, he went to the Stanley Park. There was nobody there. He remembered Meg Hutson, Mystery Girl, and what she said. Nick didn't understand why she called him Mr. Hollywood.

Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 24/06/2011 13:57:03 Nick was alone. The gunman was behind him. Nick was afraid. He didn't understand what was happening to him. Nick found some people and got into his car. He found a letter that said: "I'm going to kill you, Mr. Hollywood." Nick drove to the nearest police station. A tired young police man wrote down his story. Mr. Lotz didn't do a thing about Nick's story.

Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 24/06/2011 14:00:12 Nick went into the hotel, approached the desk and asked the woman behind the desk about the man with white hair. The woman didn't remember anything. Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 24/06/2011 14:03:03 Nick went for a drink to the hotel bar. There he remembered the letter in the girl's bag. He decided to go to the Empress Hotel, in Victoria, Vancouver. He had dinner in the hotel and saw the man at the hotel desk.

Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 24/06/2011 14:05:59 He approached the desk and asked about the man. The receptionist told Nick the man's name was Mr. Vickers. Tsawwassem was twenty miles away south of Vancouver. He took the one o'clock ferry to Vancouver Island.

Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 24/06/2011 14:11:59 Nick ate at the ferry restaurant. There were a lot of old people at the restaurant so he looked for the white haired man. No luck. Driving to Swartz Bay, he saw a red car behind him, about two hundred yards behind him. He lost the car in the busy streets of Victoria. Nick went inside the Empress Hotel. He said to the desk clerk: I'm meeting a friend, Miss Hutson. The clerk couldn't find the name on the guest-list. Nick took away the picture from the magazine of Meg and her father.

Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 24/06/2011 14:16:03 The man with white hair was tired, he couldn't sleep. When he got to the busy streets of Victoria, he lost the blue car. He drove past the hotel and went back. He saw a room full of tables and people; the girl was there. Two men were with her, one was in a green shirt; it was Mr. Hollywood. The man with white hair grabbed his gun carefully.

Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 24/06/2011 14:19:41 Men was at the tea room, sitting next to a young man. She looked very happy. Nick approached the table. The new man's name was Craig Winters. Nick asked a question to Mr. Winters: "does anyone want to kill you?"

Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 24/06/2011 14:23:42 Meg's father doesn't like Craig. She wanted the wait haired man to follow Nick. Nick said the white haired man wanted to kill Meg but Meg didn't believe it. He told her about the car and the gun fire. Craig Winters asked Nick "Do you know his name?". When Nick answered, Craig looked ill.

The white haired man took out the gun and said "this is for Anna". Nich hid behind a table and the shot went over his head. Craig Winters took out his gun, there was blood on his white shirt.

Detective Edmonds entered the room with two cups of coffee. Meg wanted to call the hospital because Craig was there. Behind Edmonds was Meg's father, Howard Hutson. He told her about Anna Vickers. She killed herself because the man she loved left her and took her money. She was Johnnie Vickers daughter. The man she loved was called Mr. Hollywood. It was not the first Craig winters did it and he used other names before.

Author: pit Subject: Sticky Note Date: 24/06/2011 14:37:16 Meg left with her father and apologized to Nick for everything. Nick went to the Ferry restaurant, it was busy. He found a table. A nice girl with a nice smile asked to share the table. Nick got up and let her take it. He knew a lot about nice smiles
