VISITATION The visitation program exists to serve members as well as friends and family of members and other contacts we learn about who may desire a visit. Volunteers visit hospital patients and shut-ins to provide comfort and encouragement to the patients and their family members. We also seek opportunities to minister by providing the Lords Supper, Bible study, or other forms of help through collaboration with other teams. Training will be provided for those who may be interested but lack the experience. Our visitation program will be divided into groups which share visitation responsibilities (personal calls, phone calls, correspondence, and helping widows).

Gods mathematics
Physicists sometimes refer to mathematics as the language of God. This is because so much of what we understand about our world, and the universe in which we exist, is explained in the terminology and iron logic of mathematics. Even the most unscientific layman is familiar with the equation E=MC2, a simple expression whose implications are enormous and profound. But if math is Gods language, He has also used it in ways that are more basic and easier to understand. Consider the following. As Christians we must be diligent to subtract the character of worldliness from our hearts. We are to lay aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings (I Peter 2:1). Also, let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christs sake hath forgiven you (Eph. 4:31-32). In doing these, however because nature abhors a vacuum we must be careful also to add godly traits such as the fruits of the spirit (Gal. 5:22-23) as we put on the whole armor of God (Eph. 6:1117). We must add to our faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity (II Peter 1:5-7). The goal is not only to save ourselves but to bring others into Gods kingdom that is, to multiply the family of God. On one particular Pentecost, three thousand souls were added to the Lords church (Acts 2:41-47) as the apostles followed Jesus dictate to go forth and make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-16). Our mission is the same. Gods desire is an unbroken kingdom of likeminded believers. Therefore, we must strive to avoid dividing the brethren. The Lord noted that every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth (Luke 11:17). This was the danger in Corinth, as Paul warned (I Cor. 1:10-13). We must be joined together in the same mind and the same judgment. It all adds up, so to speak, to the ideal condition for the Christian.
