Конспект урока на тему «My favourite subject»

Цель урока: закрепление полученных лексических и грамматических навыков по
теме "School", отработка умений и навыков по их применению.
Задачи:
Образовательная: формирование у учащихся навыков общения в рамках речевой
ситуации "My favourite subject";
Развивающая: развитие у учащихся навыков монологической и диалогической речи,
повторение грамматических конструкций;
Воспитательная: воспитать у учащихся интерес к английскому языку, уважение к
культуре и традициям страны изучаемого языка, воспитать умение работать в
коллективе и слушать друг друга.
Планируемый результат:
- формировать практические умения использовать полученные знания;
- освоить новые лексические единицы по теме « Школьные предметы» и уметь
употреблять их в речи
 - осуществлять монологическое высказывание по теме.
- совершенствовать навыки  аудирования и устной речи.
чтение с целью нахождения заданной информации;
- заполнять таблицы (расписание)
Формы работы: Фонетическая и лексическая разминка, Тестовые задания, Работа в
парах, Индивидуальная работа.
Этапы урока.
I. 1. Организационно-мотивационный этап.
- Good afternoon, boys and girls. I am glad to see you. What date is it today? What day of
the week is it today?
-So today is Wednesday and I have got four lessons on my timetable. And you? How many
lessons have you got on Wednesday?
-How many lessons have you got on the timetable every day?
-So I see that you are very busy because you have got a lot of lessons at school. Of course
they are very interesting and I suggest talking about them. So boys and girls, guess, what is
the theme of our lesson today?
-Yes, our theme is “My favourite school subjects” and at our lesson we are going to revise
words and wordcombinations in order to improve your vocabulary skills and talk about your
school subjects. We will also work and act out a dialogue on the theme. First of all we
should prepare for the lessons.
Учащиеся приветствуют друг друга и гостей.
Выявляют тему урока и составляют план работы.

II. Актуализация знаний, лексическая зарядка.


- Can you go to school without your schoolbags? Of course, you can’t. That’s why you
should pack your schoolbag. Look at the screen. Imagine this is your schoolbag but it is
empty. Let’s put into it all things which we need at school every day. Listen to me and guess
what it is.
Учащиеся прослушивают описание, догадываются, о чем идет речь, и называют школьные
принадлежности по-английски, изображение которых появляется на экране.
Фонетически отрабатывают слова: повторяют хором  за учителем.
You should put:
1. a thing where you can write down your homework in (a diary)
2. a thing where you can read different texts (a textbook)
3. a thing where you can write different exercises. (a workbook)
4. a thing you can write with ( a pen)
5. a thing we use to draw straight lines at Maths (a ruler)
6. a thing we use to rub something out (an eraser)
7. a thing we can draw with  (a pencil)
8. a thing where we put all things above (a pencil case)

-So you have guessed all the words. Well done. Let’s repeat them after me all together once
more.

-As you can see, your schoolbag is full of necessary things and now we are ready for the
lessons. It’s time to speak about your school subjects.
-First of all we should remember their names. Look at the picture on the blackboard and
think of the name of a subject that it illustrates.
 Read all the subjects: Maths, Literature, English, Russian, Art, PE, Music, History,
Geography.
Учащиеся догадываются по картинке, о каком предмете идет речь, вспоминают его
название, затем один учащийся подходит к доске и прикрепляет слово рядом с
картинкой.

III. Активизация в речи названий предметов, работа в парах.


-So you study a lot of useful subjects at school and do a lot of interesting things at your
lessons. Now let’s remember what exactly you do at each lesson. We are going to work in
pairs and do the exercise on the sheet of paper. Your task is to match the words with the
name of a subject. Then you should make up sentences as in the example.
(Соедините слова с названием предмета, составьте устно предложения по образцу)
Example: We read stories and poems at our Reading lessons.

1. English a) we can count and solve problems


2. PE b) we can sing songs and listen to music
3. Art c) we can jump, run, play games
4. Maths d) we can speak, read and write in English
5. Technology e) we read stories and learn poems
6. Geography f) we draw and paint pictures
7. Music g) we can make different things
8. Literature h) we learn about different countries,
continents

V. Диалогическая речь
- Now we are going to work with the dialogue. Kate is speaking with Tom about his school
and his timetable. We are going to work in pairs again. Your task is to complete the
dialogue. You should choose the correct phrase from the list to fill in the dialogue below.
- Read the phrases you have chosen. Read the whole dialogue.
- Учащиеся составляют диалог .
a) My favourite subject is Reading because I like to read.
b) on your timetable
c) Do you like your school?
d) What is your favourite subject?
Kate: Hello, Tom! 1) …
Tom: Oh, yes, I do. It’s very interesting to go to my school.
Kate: What subjects have you got
2) … ?
Tom: We have got Maths, Reading, English, Russian, Art, P E and Music..
Kate: What about English lessons?
Tom: I’ve got English two times a week.
Kate: 3) …
Tom: My favourite subject is Maths because I am good at it. 
And what is your favourite subject?
Kate: 4) …
Tom: Oh, I must go. Good bye.
Kate: Bye .
- Now in pairs make up similar dialogues using your own ideas instead of the words in bold.
Think of your own timetable and your favourite subjects.
- Well done.

Учащиеся изменяют выделенные жирным шрифтом слова на информацию о себе.

- And now it’s time to write down your home task for next week.

- How many lessons do you usually have on Monday, Tuesday and Friday?
-What is the first, second, fourth and sixth lesson on Wednesday and Thursday?
-Which subjects have you got on Monday, Friday?

VI. Рефлексия учебной деятельности на уроке.


-Our lesson has come to the end. Let`s sum up our work .
-We have discussed your school subjects and you have done dialogues very well.
- А как вы в целом оцените наш урок сегодня?
А знаете ли вы, что в Англии – другая система оценивания.  Вот и вы попробуете
оценить урок по-английски (листы оценивания):

-Dear boys and girls, I see you like our lesson. Your marks for the lesson are…
