Appendix 2: Do you have any comments about your experience using Echo360 lecture capture this semester? Open Text Responses: It was easy to use and was an effective and convenient way to learn from home. It is great. I wished that more of my accounting courses would be taught this way! My class had a good balance between actual in class lectures and lecture captures. It was nice to not have to go to class everyday and being able to look over the material on my own time. It was however beneficial to be able to come to class once a week to ask the professor questions regarding the material and to cover more challenging topics. no. no. It should be used in many more math courses. Usefull tool for helping w/ the understanding of the coursework. I think as this program improve it will continue to becaom an asset to both instructors and students. I helps the instructor to avoid repition and students can review a lecture anytime they need to as many times as they need to. It would be a mistake to get rid of this program and it is a mistake for instructors not to take advantage of it. no no no no no no no no no no love it and i plan on using it in my classroom someday. Since these lectures are available to me, I find it easier to study for exams at my own pace which makes my time management a lot better. Having a visual of the work helps me succeed on tests and quizzes. I like Echo360 but there is problems watching it a lot of the time. I use this a couple times a week but there is always an error. I also hate that I can not watch them on anything except my computer. I really wish you would switch over to iTunes U format. That way they can be watched through iTunes U, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch/Video...etc. I have found some very interesting videos on iTunes U that have helped me out. It is a free service, and I do not have the problems with U that I have with Echo360. it helped a lot!! Better mozilla support is needed I like recorded lectures. It allows good review and helps prepare for test because you can recall what seems to be important to instructor. I like the online lecture because it's convenient. I could go back and watch the video as many times as I need until I understand the materials. So, I would love to have more of this kind of resource available to students to aid their studying. I wish it were easier to use for teachers and students. Sometimes my instructor had problems getting the program to load in a timely manner. I love being able to listen to a lecture or a piece of a lecture repeatedly without having to bother my instructor. Sometimes I was so saturated with information, being able to listen to the lesson again later helped me to catch points I missed in class. very helpful Overall, I enjoyed the use of this technology. It primarily helped me review the material, as well as clarify confusing aspects in class. These videos should be used more often for all science classes.

Open Text Responses: The program has really helped me study. When I take notes, Im too focused on what Im writing that I tend to miss a comment the professor makes. With this program, I can go back and hear the professor's comments. Its really useful and it helps me study over the weekend. I think Echo 360 was helpful. It is helpful for review Great service. It helped alot. We didn't start the capture lecturing until after mid-term but I personally felt that I was able to understand the material better when I could go back and reference the lecture weeks later after learning lots of newer material. It'a great tool for students to review the lecture again. seemed to have difficulties getting lectures up in a timely manner I LOVED THIS PROGRAM. Helped me pass the course. Not really, but having the lectures available at my discretion is certainly a big help. What if I missed class? Well, the lecture is available still. More importantly for myself, sometimes in class my brain isn't working very well. I may have been working on a project all day or something of that nature. Therefore, it is really nice on those days to be able to view the lecture when my mind is refreshed. I think that when our class started using the Echo360 system it helped when i needed help and i was not in class. I hope to see more classes use these tools. It was awesome and very helpful! Not at this time. . It helped me review and understand my topics better It was my first time having to take notes online and listen to lectures and I liked it. In most classes when you take notes the professor may not go back and repeat it but the notes online I can always pause it copy the notes have time to read them and then go back to payign attention. I liked the videos, they helped me earn a higher grade but the volume was always low! I likes using it because I could watch videos when I wanted to but towards the end of the semester videos weren't posted till a day before class. That was a problem because I didn't have any time to do it then because of other classes and commitments. It made learning experience a lot easier. I could watch the videos over and over til I learned the material. My grades improved drastly. I didnt have to bug the professor with questions that I was confused on. Echo 360 works wonders. Thank you. It was an overall good expirence
