Course Title: Course Code: Credit Hours: Semester: Pre-requisite: Instructor: Calculus and Analytic Geometry-II MT 1023 Three (3) 2nd Calculus and Analytic Geometry-I Dr. Muhammad Ramzan

Course Learning Objectives:

This course is for the freshman years of the university. It will provide a practical tool to the students, and will be used in their later academic and professional careers. The learning objectives of this course are: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. To discuss in detail the Techniques of Integration to enhance their capabilities and to meet the requirements of next ODE course. In this course, students will learn tools to translate three dimensional figures from one coordinate system to another system. They will also learn the tools to handle different types of series. Moreover, they will also be able to find volumes of different shapes using double/triple integration. Students will be able to find the change in one coordinate, keeping the other constant using partial derivatives. Students will have an introduction to the Sequences/Series and related Concepts.

Attendance, Assignments and Quizzes

Every class is important. Every student is expected to attend every lecture. However, 80% attendance is mandatory. Every student must reach the class room in time. Late comers will be marked as absent. A student must not leave the class room during the lecture unless it is essential. Students are required to take all tests. No make-up test will be given under normal circumstances, no assignment will be accepted after due date. Students are expected to submit their own solutions of the assignments. Students copying another persons work or allowing their work to be copied can expect one of the following actions to be taken by the instructor: 1. Both students will receive negative points to the points of the assignment. 2. Both students will have their final grade lowered by one lower grade.
