Skill Development Leadership

Working in both BIS team and each department will be a great chance for me to learn this experience from my department manager and BIS chairman. This experience would be helpful for me about controlling and leading in the future. Moreover, I would like to learn from the Board of Director (BOD) as they are also supervisors for BIS interns. So, I am really curious about how they manage well an organization like TRG International Company and what challenges that they have been faced. I also would like to observe what they do in regular day and look for an opportunity to apply leadership skill in the future. Besides that, I prefer reading book about this topic because they can share me new knowledge about what I haven t known before and I will try it to improve my skill. So far, I would like to take advance in leading any teams or project manager.

Communication
Communication is one of the most important skills that I aim learn during 1 year intern in TRG International Company. I would have a chance to work with different clients, especially when I work in Customer Support, so communication skill is essential to deal with situation. Communication is not a new issue but how to make customer understand well what we say and vice versa is really matter. Firstly, I would like to put myself in both Customer Support and Professional Service department which will contact directly with clients. Learn from someone who good at communication (buddies from Professional Department and Customer Support). Try to speak fast but as clear as possible because client does not want to waste time but they also want to understand what we say. Secondly, active listening and understanding clients also is a part of communication, especially when contact clients through the phone or having directly conversation

Analysis
Analysis skill is one of the most important skills of BIS intern that I should aware. For this purpose, I want to improve this skill throughout some internal and external projects. For this situation, I would to take those tasks in BIS projects. So, I would like to ask the BOD to receive projects and improve skills from them. Furthermore, with their supervisor, I expect to learn new things and new experience from them.
But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it Gautama Siddharta, the founder of Buddhism

Time management
Time management is one of my concerns because I see it as my weak point. For this purpose, I want to improve throughout the time of internship in TRG. In some circumstances, I will be assigned in many tasks or I probably cope with many projects at a time. So, I want to enhance my performance with better time management skill and I m eager to learn it from others who are good at this issue. Besides that, I would like to learn it from my own experience or through researching. By improving this skill, it would be helpful for me to control projects more efficient.

Adaptability
During the time at TRG International Company, I want to accomplish the goal for improving this skill. For that reason, I aim to rotate myself in many departments as well as keep growing as BIS intern. For each department, I want to learn and experience new knowledge and find out which fit for my ability. In addition, I see it as a challenge for me to improve skills and learn new things. This would lead me to enhance the skill for adapting and make me well-prepared or being flexible for any situation that I might face in working environment.

Programming
Being as BIS intern, programming skill is one of the most necessary skills that I need to improve the most. I am willing to learn new programming languages like Objective C or try to improve what I have been experienced but in the new concept such as Java coding for website. In TRG International, they have a team for developing applications for iPhone and I am willing to participate in this department. Therefore, I tend to take quick training course to learn from those programming language as soon as possible would like to take the role in Web team in few months. In web team, the experts can share knowledge and it would bring me a good chance to practice what I had been learn about creating website and help me to have more experience in this issue.

Project Management

While being as BIS intern, I would like to learn about Project Management which is the most crucial skill to handle projects. In my point, anyone who experience or have knowledge in Project Management is better managing each project and ensure that project does not go wrong direction. Even they can avoid mistakes and corporate well with team to finish the project. Thus, I want to learn it to enhance my performance and prepare better for my career. The better way for improving it is throughout projects from TRG International, thus it could help me to learn more. By observing and assisting the team, I suppose to learn how to apply project management in each kind of project and make it successful. Web application

Web application is the skill I really want to learn as I also have some experience during the time at University. However, I considered that I need to learn more as my current web programming skill is not enough to create web based which could not match clients requirements. Creating a good website that can satisfy clients acquire me to learn more new things, including new web languages and experience. In current situation, TRG Company has a web team which handle to create web for both internal and external projects and that would be interesting for me to have a chance to work with them. Furthermore, I would like to self-learn by researching online which could clarify me some issues and help to increase my skill. Sunsystems

Sunssytems is the core business of TRG, so it could be reasonable for me to learn new things from it. Sunsystems is the accounting application which support corporation in accounting and financial service. Being as a customer supporter, it necessary for me to learn and understand about this application. I also have great opportunity to learn new things during the training course. Understand this issue well can help me to support clients well and overcome the problems with Sunsystems. Besides that, I also have great support from my Customer Support s manager which could make me clarified some issues that I have been confused. Research is also important to figure out what I don t know and learn from them, so I prefer searching information this on the Internet, such as http://www.sunpundits.com/forum which could be a useful website to find out issues for Sunsystems. Business process is one of the skills that I prefer learning the most. Working in TRG would be an opportunity for me to have a look at how an organization run and discover the whole process. Besides learning throughout lessons, people feedbacks and advices are so valuable to absorb. Running TRG is also challenge for the BOD and it would be a chance for me to learn worthy experience from them.

Technical things and development skill is important, but I also do not forget about building relationship with my colleges. Networking is important in working environment and TRG really care about this issue. They often held events or team building program for new intern, old intern, full time people and the BOD to make friends and build stronger relationship with each other. As a result, we can support each other, share knowledge together and I can learn a lot of new things from buddies. TRG also held & sponsor many Networking events (big ones such as Amcham, Auscham, EURO cham and TRG Client networking events), so I would like to join those events to practice networking skills and expand your network
