Duties & Responsibilities Maintain Road Tankers for transporting Bulk Petroleum Products. Filling Tankers with Bulk petroleum Products as per Indents received from the Planning Officer. Ensure safe transportation and timely delivery of Petroleum Products to various destinations. Carry out Calibration of Tank periodically as per Weights and Measures Department requirement. Renew Explosive License, Insurance, PUC, Road Tax/Permit, Driving License etc. Conduct Safety & First Aid Training for the crew members of the Road Tankers. 1989-1991:

Duties and Responsibilities Receiving Indents from Depots and Retail Outlets over phone/email on daily basis. Record the Indents in the master ledger for timely dispatch of Petroleum products. Float Tender for Bulk Transportation. Scrutinize submitted tender forms for fixing the rate per RTKM per LK as per Industry Policy. Negotiate with the Transport Contractors for Safe & Timely delivery of Petroleum products. Process Invoice, Cash Memo, Invoice cum Cash Receipt and Transshipment Order Advice for daily dispatch of Bulk & Retail Petroleum products. Collect Bank Instruments from the Retails Distributors and depositing the same in the Bank. Generate Reports for Daily Dispatch, Bank Statement, Public Carrier Bills, Inventory and Stock Loss. Monitor payment of excise duty for Bonded Products. Process Daily, Weekly and Monthly Report as required by the HQ.

1992-1998:

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Cochin & Mangalore Ports 7 years Experience in Bulk Loading/Discharge of Oil Tankers at Jetty & Barge/Bunker Operations at Shore & Outer.

Duties and Responsibilities Receive communications by Fax, Email & Phone from HQO on Bulk Tanker (Ship/Vessel) movements. Maintain records of all communications received from HQO. Carry our loading and discharge of Tankers in co-ordination with the refinery and other oil Companies. Inform Customs, Port Authorities, Surveyor and Shipping Agent for berthing the Tanker. Ensure presence to sight the Vessel from the Tanker Jetty and inform the Handling contractors for berthing the Vessel. Ensure that the Mooring Ropes are intact for hose Connections. Discuss with the Master and the Chief Officer for Sampling and Volume Calculation of the Product. Send the Composite Sample drawn from all the Tanks to the Laboratory for PRD (Pre Discharge Test). Hose Connection and Gauging of Shore Tank to be carried out during the time. Deploy manpower at the Shore Terminal and at the Jetty for Lining up the Product Line. Receive confirmation from the Laboratory, whether the Product meets the required specifications, as per Operations Manual. Ensure the Tanker and Shore exchange VHF Hand Sets to receive communications from both ends. Monitor Tanker and the shore Tank level by hourly gauge and the quantity should be exchanged on hourly basis. On completion of Discharge, Gauge Shore Tank Receipt to assess the actual quantity received. Check the Vessel for Ballast so as to sail safely. Issue the next Port Of Call letter to the Mater for sailing from the Jetty. All the operations are to be recorded in the Time sheet as per Tanker Manual. In case of Loading, the Test Report from Refinery will be issued to the master of the Vessel, before loading. The rate of Pumping from the Shore Pump House will be decided by the Chief Officer of the Vessel.

Bunker Operations: Bunker of Fuel to Vessels are carried out at the Jetty for the Berthed Vessels and at the Outer for Vessels anchored in the Outer. For berthed Vessels, the Bunker line will be connected from the Port Shore Tank, to the manifold of the Vessel. For outer Bunker, a barge is required. The loaded barge will carry the Fuel to the Outer for Bunkering. Prior permission is to be obtained for Outer Bunker as the operations are risky, due to rough sea and bad weather.
1999-2001

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Cochin 3 years Experience in Sales & Customer Service of Retail & LPG.

Duties and Responsibilities Maintain Bulk LPG Stock in the Filling Plant by regular co-ordination with the refineries. Receive Indent from LPG Distributors for planning loads. Maintain Customer Holding of all LPG Distributors. Carry out audit of Cylinders and Pressure Regulators on weekly basis. Monitor availability of New Cylinders and Pressure Regulators. Conduct weekly Safety Clinics for the awareness of LPG Customers. Conduct training program for the Customers, Distributors and Delivery men. Attend Customer complaints and resolve the same immediately. Ensure proper checks at the Filling plant to maintain accuracy in weight. File Tenders with Industrial Customers for Bulk LPG Supplies. Ensure timely dispatch of Bulk LPG to Industrial Customers. Regular visits to check LPG Installation at Hospitals, Hostels, Hotels, Homes, Orphanage, College/School, Prison and Restaurants on weekly basis. Prepare Daily Sales Record of all the LPG Distributors and send the same to HQ, for Planning Bulk and Packed LPG. Conduct Mock Fire Drill in LPG Plants on weekly basis. Ensure Nil Complaints from the Customers and Distributors. Strictly follow safety at all levels in the usage of LPG.

2002-2007

2007-2008

Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor LPG production at the Refinery on daily basis to plan PLT (Pipe Line Transfer) to LPG Plants. Schedule Road Tankers to transport LPG to the required locations. Receive LPG Vessels at the Jetty for Decanting LPG in the Shore Import Facility Spheres, Mounds and Cavern Storage. Conduct Quality Checks before and after decantation of Bulk LPG. Plan Pipe Line Transfers from Refinery to the Railway Siding for Filling LPG Wagons. Conduct Mock Fire Drill on Weekly basis to bring Safety awareness amongst the employees. Ensure Bonding of Pipe Lines, Valves, Tanks, Conveyers and Filling Scales in the Carousal. Conduct Safety check for Bullets (LPG Road Tankers) before and after Filling. Inspection of Fire Extinguishers, Hydrant line, Jockey pump, Fire Pump, Hydrant Monitors and Sprinklers on daily basis. Ensure to maintain 6 Kg Pressure in the Hydrant Line through the Jockey Pump at all times. Follow safety practices by wearing Safety Shoes, Gloves and Helmet. Send Daily reports of receipt and dispatch to HQ. Ensure Lightning Arrestors are fixed on top of Storage Tanks. Conduct Training and Safety meetings, to discuss issues on Safety, Health and Environment. 2008-2009 Tristar Energy, Sector IV, Southern Kordafan, Kadugli, Sudan Served as a Site Manager Support UNIMS in fuel supply.

Duties and Responsibilities: Tristar Energy is Fuel Supplies Contractor to UNMIS (United Nations Mission in Sudan). The Sector has 4 Team Site and 2 Main Sites. Maintain Stocks of Jet A1, Diesel and Lubricant to supply UNMIS as per their requirement. Maintain Storage Tanks, Tank Farm, Jet A1 Refuelers, Diesel Bowsers, Generators, Pump House, and Office Equipments as per UNMIS agreement. Deploy Manpower and allocate duties to Officers, Technicians and Staff. Monitor Stock on daily basis. Supply Jet A1 Fuel to UNMIS Aircrafts and Choppers. Supply Diesel to UNMIS Generators & Vehicles. Carry out on line data entry of daily Issues. Inspect Team Site on weekly basis. Monitor decanting of Jet A1 and to carry out Quality Analysis as per Aviation Manual. Monitor Refueling operations of Aircrafts and Choppers. Maintain UN Reserve Stock as per agreement. Conduct monthly Mock Fire Drill & Safety meetings. Train Officers and Staff in Emergency Rescue Planning and functional operations. Maintain Stock Loss as per target. Compile Daily, Weekly & Monthly report as per requirement of UNMIS.
