Nottingham, UK, July 11, 2011 -- DEEP OSCILLATION clinically proven effects Four weeks post-operative, Sharon is delighted

with the results of her breast en hancement surgery, which was carried out by Tonic Cosmetic Surgery Centre, Regen t Street in Nottingham http://www.thenottscentre.co.uk/. From day one post-opera tive, Sharon had the innovative German treatment, DEEP OSCILLATION from PhysioPod UK Limited and it is the considered opinion that the therapy has significantly helped reduce the rehabilitation process allowing the results to be enjoyed in a much quicker time frame than has previously been possible for cosmetic surgery patients. In contrast to externally applied, mechanical forms of therapy, (e.g. vibration) , the therapy effect of DEEP OSCILLATION takes place in the tissue itself and wor ks through the entire depth of the tissue layers (8cm) through skin, connective tissue, subcutaneous fat, muscles, blood and lymph vessels with the following cl inically proven effects: Encouraging wounds to heal Pain Reduction Mobilization Anti Inflammatory Oedema and Fibrosis Reduction

How does DEEP OSCILLATION work? On the level of the interstitium, DEEP OSCILLATION causes a Shuffling of the basic substance, thus promoting the removal of interstitial fluid as well as content m aterial. Interstitial septa and fissures are kept open by the mechanical activat ion, which helps interstitial drainage. This significantly reduces both local oe dema and aseptic inflammation. Proof was also established of a significant reduc tion in swellings in the area of the wound, due to the treatment. In chronic con ditions the treatment helps to disperse fibrosis and to diminish hardening of th e tissue. Background to Sharons breast enhancement decision It was felt that the surgery was of utmost importance to improving Sharons overal l self-confidence and low self esteem. She described how she felt her upper body totally lacked a feminine shape, that she had minimal toned breast tissue and a s such did not feel accepted by others. She was highly embarrassed by the fact t hat she could not in her words fill a bra, she was thin and her bones were on show . She described how she felt, flat, empty and not worthy of the attention of others. However, this had not always been the case, she had weighed 16 stone and was 5 f t 6 enjoying a voluptuous build. But sadly, in 1991 Sharon was diagnosed with Cro hn s disease, an inflammatory disease of the intestines causing abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting and commonly, weight loss. Sharons weight dropped to just 7 st one and she went on to develop Osteoporosis, her height has since reduced to 5 f t 3". It is known that gastrointestinal disorders such as Crohn s disease can pr edispose to Osteoporosis. Sharon has also had multiple jaw surgery to realign he r jaw and was on two occasions left with a wired jaw with only liquidized food f or nutrition. Sharon was at an all time low and spent a lot of time in bed; she physically did not have the energy to get up. Gradually, as treatment began to help, her weigh t improved and her condition became more manageable but she felt very much in ne ed of a confidence boost. In 2011, at age 50 she decided to have the breast enha ncement surgery and was encouraged and supported by her family and friends. Consultation and Procedure After very thorough and professional consultation and advice, she decided to go for a cup change from a 36A to a 36 E/F with a 380cc high profile, silicon, and

wide-based implant, giving a natural look which would aim to take her measuremen ts to 36"-26"-36". The breast enhancement procedure took 4 hours and Sharon was home in the afterno on on the day of surgery. Sharon was expecting pain, bruising, swelling, fatigue and numbness and some resultant scar tissue. She had been made aware of all the side affects of surgery and knew that the body also can reject the implant, a c ondition known as capsular contracture which is where the body reacts to the forei gn object (breast implant), forming a line of capsular around the implant which becomes hard and can often distort the look of the implant. She knew further sur gery is often required to correct this, a consideration she didn t relish. Howev er, she still made the decision to go ahead. Post-operative feelings Following the surgery she was in a good deal of pain, which she described as a sc olded feeling to the skin, with immense swelling in the breast area but she had f ar less bruising than expected. What she was not expecting however and what she felt, was an immense feeling of euphoria! Rather than being fatigued, she couldnt s leep because of how excited she was to have a new feminine shape and she wanted to unveil the results as soon as possible. Fast Rehabilitation with DEEP OSCILLATION The following day, Sharon had a visit from Julie Soroczyn, Therapist and Managin g Director of PhysioPod UK Limited, the exclusive distributors for DEEP OSCILLAT ION therapy for the UK and Republic of Ireland. Julie set about applying the intermittent electrostatic therapy to each newly co nstructed breast with her vinyl-gloved hands. She carried out 30 minutes of trea tment to each breast, carefully working around the edge of the wound, then the s urrounding tissue and finishing with a treatment to her back and shoulders, ther eby relieving the build up of muscle tension and increasing mobility in the area . The therapy had immediate effect on the tight swollen tissue, which softened ver y quickly beneath Julies gloved hands. Sharon was amazed at the speed at which th e therapy worked and was left happy, pain free and with a Liquid Ice TM Ice Wrap to apply to the breasts, The Liquid Ice TM Ice Wrap assists DEEP OSCILLATION in the acceleration of the natural healing process and provides cooling and compres sion to hard to reach areas for over 2 hours and requires no refrigeration. It i s also used for Post Surgery Recovery from: Breast Augmentation, Submental Lipo, Liposuction, Abdominal Plasty, Vein Stripping, Orthopedic Surgery and Foot Surg ery and can be applied 6 times following initial use for relief. Sharon was also left with a DEEP OSCILLATION PERSONAL AESTHETICS to reapply the t herapy as a self-treatment daily with a range of different sized applicators. Sh e had full instruction on how to use the device, which was simple and easy to un derstand, the conditions are all pre-programmed, so once go is pressed, it was a c ase of using circular movements carefully around the area until the end of the p rogramme. For the first week, Sharon used DEEP OSCILLATION throughout the day and once in t he night. She knew as soon as the pain reappeared that the therapy would take it away, it became a natural and pleasant routine. Already a firm advocate of the benefits of drinking 8 glasses of water a day, Sharon found herself drinking eve n more and having more frequent visits to the bathroom, a sign that the therapy was ridding the body of the accumulated toxins post surgery and thereby helping with the healing process. For the following three weeks, Sharon reduced the regu larity of treatments and at the end of the fourth week returned the unit to Phys ioPod and is now absolutely delighted with the results. Conclusions

Although Sharon admits the pain involved with surgery is more than she ever imag ined it would be. She cannot conceivably believe that anyone would have any form of surgery without knowing they could get daily relief from DEEP OSCILLATION. Sh e felt that this therapy was imperative to her recovery process and it had meant she could see the results in a much quicker time frame and that would have not been possible without it. Psychologically, she was keen to know she had made the right decision as soon as possible, the therapy allowed this. Sharon praises the skills of her Surgeon; the team at Tonic Clinic and the breast care nurses at th e private hospital she went to for postoperative checks. They are all pleased wi th her speedy recovery and the results that have been achieved, which include th e return of nipple sensitivity within just one week following surgery, the mobil ity in her upper body, the smooth, soft scar tissue and the natural look of her newly enhanced breasts. Further Good news for Capsular Contracture sufferers Furthermore, Sharon also now feels confident that if she did develop a complicat ion such as Capsular Contracture she would have no hesitation in using DEEP OSCI LLATION again to break up the fibrous tissue surrounding the implant. At Lymphtax in the United States it is being used for this condition http://www.lymphatx.co m/hivamat.html to alleviate pain and advance the symmetry of the breasts, hopefu lly avoiding the prospect of further surgery. In the UK highly-respected Bodywork and Lymphatic Therapist, Deborah Berry who i s based in Ludlow, Shropshire (www.deborahberry.co.uk) was pleased to report her findings with this condition: Capsular Contracture "Joss (not her real name) was having treatment with DEEP OSCILLATION Therapy (Hiv amat 200) for another reason when she brought to my attention the problem she was having with capsular contracture around her right breast implant. Joss had brea st enhancement surgery 13 years previously. Over time, the left implant was assu ming a natural position with the loss of tissue elasticity but the right had bec ome encapsulated resulting in a higher position than the left giving a lop-sided appearance. Joss is self conscious of this and it has affected her willingness to wear swimwear and certain other upper garments. Additionally on raising her r ight arm she experiences a pulling sensation and the whole implant elevates. We decided to also use Deep Oscillation around the encapsulated tissue during her 4 remaining appointments for 22 minutes each time. The result was an easing of th e pulling sensation and a more natural feel to this breast. Joss s plastic surge on has supported the use of Deep Oscillation to bring about further improvement and a case is being made to the GP to apply for funding to enable treatment to c ontinue. If successful this will avoid further surgery with its inherent health risks, direct and indirect costs and possibility of recurrence of the problem. I will have no hesitation in suggestion a course of DEEP OSCILLATION for other pe ople in Joss s situation (provided the medical history, taken at initial consult ation, indicates its appropriateness)" MORE INFORMATION ABOUT DEEP OSCILLATION For more details of the clinical effects of the therapy click here http://www.ph ysiopod.co.uk/clinical-effects.shtml For more details of the devices click here http://www.physiopod.co.uk/products.s html To view the UK/Ireland therapists map click here http://www.physiopod.co.uk/ther apist-map.shtml To read testimonials, for insurance details, about the set up of PhysioPod UK li mited and other fields of application click here http://www.physiopod.co.uk/ Mary Fickling and Julie Soroczyn, Sisters and Directors of PhysioPod UK Limited -
