Lea todas las instrucciones y gurdelas
para posteriores consultas.
La seguridad elctrica del aparato se
garantiza solamente en caso de que est
conectado a una toma de tierra eficaz
tal como prevn las vigentes normas de
seguridad elctrica. En caso de dudas
dirjase a una persona profesionalmente
cualificada.
Antes de la primera utilizacin,
compruebe que el voltaje de su red
domstica coincide con el indicado sobre
el aparato.
Como proteccin contra descargas
elctricas, no sumerja el aparato ni el
cable ni la clavija en agua ni en cualquier
otro lquido.
No deje que los nios o discapacitados
manipulen el aparato sin vigilancia.
Desconecte el aparato de la red cuando
no lo est utilizando y antes de proceder
a su limpieza. Djelo enfriar antes de
montar y desmontar piezas y antes de
limpiarlo.
No deje el aparato expuesto a los agentes
atmosfricos (lluvia, sol, hielo, etc.).
No utilice o coloque ninguna parte
de este aparato sobre o cerca de
superficies calientes (placas de cocina
de gas o elctrica u hornos).
No deje que el cable cuelgue por el borde
de la superficie en que est apoyado.
No toque las superficies calientes.
Utilice los mangos o asideros.
Si el cable de este aparato resulta
daado, dirjase a un Centro de Asistencia
tcnico autorizado para que lo sustituyan.
No utilice ningn aparato elctrico que
tenga el cable o la clavija deteriorados
o cuando el aparato no funcione
debidamente o haya sido daado en
cualquier forma. Lleve el aparato a un
servicio tcnico autorizado para su
examen, reparacin o ajuste.
En caso de avera y/o desperfectos de
funcionamiento, apague el aparato sin
intentar repararlo. Dirjase a un Centro
de Asistencia tcnica autorizado y
solicite que sean utilizados repuestos y
accesorios originales.
Despus de haber quitado el embalaje,
cercirese de la integridad del producto.
Si tuviera dudas, no utilice el aparato
y dirjase a un Centro de Asistencia
Tcnico autorizado.
Los elementos del embalaje (bolsas
de plstico, espuma de poliestireno,
etc.), no deben dejarse al alcance de
los nios, porque puede representar un
peligro.
El aparato tiene que destinarse
nicamente al uso domstico para el
cual ha sido diseado y tal y como se
describe en este Manual. Cualquier otro
uso se considera peligroso.
Al utilizar aparatos elctricos, se deben de
seguir ciertas normas de seguridad bsicas
para reducir el riesgo de fuego, descargas
elctricas y/o daos a personas:

Supresin de interferencias: Este aparato
ha sido desparasitado conforme a las
directivas sobre supresin de interferencias.
Compatibilidad electromagntica: Este
aparato ha sido desparasitado conforme
a las directivas CEM (compatibilidad
electromagntica).
2. ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD
IMPORTANTES

3. ANTES DE LA PRIMERA
UTILIZACIN
Antes de usar el aparato por primera vez, limpiar
bien todas las piezas desmontables con agua
templada y detergente (el filtro, el portafiltros, la
cuchara dosificadora y la jarra de cristal con su
tapa).
Para limpiar el interior ponga la cafetera en
funcionamiento dos veces seguidas sin colocar
caf en el filtro. Para este proceso siga las
instrucciones del apartado "Preparacin del caf".
4. PREPARACION DEL CAFE
Para la preparacin del caf utilice siempre agua
fra.
1. Quitar la tapa del depsito y llenar la cantidad
de agua que se desee, teniendo en cuenta que
el mnimo son 2 tazas y el mximo 4 tazas.
Coloque de nuevo correctamente la tapa del
depsito.
2. Encaje el filtro en el portafiltros (fig. 1). Llene el
filtro con la cantidad necesaria de caf molido
para 2 4 tazas (vea las marcas en el interior
del filtro. Limpie los restos de caf del borde del
portafiltros. No prense el caf ni rebase la marca
de 4 tazas.
3. Coloque el portafiltros, respetando las flechas
indicadoras, girndolo hasta la posicin
"OK"(fig. 2).
4. Coloque la jarra de cristal sobre la rejilla de
goteo, de forma que el orificio central de la tapa,
est justo debajo de la boquilla de salida del
caf.
5. Conecte el aparato a al red y site el selector
de funciones en la posicin

(fig. 4.2). El
aparato tardar unos minutos en alcanzar la
temperatura adecuada.
6. Una vez haya salido todo el agua, coloque el
selector de funciones en la posicin "0". El
piloto de funcionamiento se apagar (fig. 4.1)
7. Desenchufe el aparato y gire a continuacin el
selector de funciones a la posicin

(fig.
4.3), con el fin de hacer salir todo el vapor que
pueda quedar en el depsito.
8. Espere aproximadamente 2 minutos antes de
retirar el portafiltros del aparato. Retire el portafiltro
girndolo en sentido inverso. Sujete el filtro con la
palanca de sujecin (h) y vacelo (fig. 5).
Si decidiera eliminar el aparato definitivamente,
despus de haber desenchufado la clavija de
la toma de corriente, es oportuno inutilizarlo
cortando el cable de alimentacin.
Este aparato est construido para hacer caf
y calentar lquidos; a la hora de su utilizacin,
hay que tener especial cuidado en no
quemarse con los chorros de agua caliente o
de vapor
No tocar las partes calientes del aparato
(conducto del vapor/agua, zona de suministro
en contacto con el porta-filtro o filtro).
No poner en funcionamiento el aparato sin
agua en el depsito.
Cuando el aparato est en funcionamiento se
halla bajo presin y no se debe abrir la tapa del
depsito o quitar el portafiltro.
El lquido caliente de una jarra puede
producir quemaduras en caso de rotura.
Para evitar romper la jarra, tome las siguiente
precauciones:
No utilice una jarra rota o con el mango suelto
o debilitado. Sustityala ante cualquier signo
de deterioro. Un resquebrajamiento o, una
pequea rotura de un trocito del cristal podra
romper la jarra o contaminar el contenido del
lquido con partculas de cristal.
No limpie la jarra con ningn tipo de estropajo
abrasivo o limpiadores que puedan rayar y
debilitar el vidrio.
La jarra est diseada para su uso en este
aparato. No coloque la jarra sobre o cerca de
una superficie caliente (estufa, fogn, encimera
de coccin, horno caliente, horno microondas,
etc.)
No coloque la jarra sobre una superficie
mojada o fra.
Evite la manipulacin violenta y los golpes.
Este aparato no est destinado para el uso por
personas (incluidos nios) con capacidades
fsicas, sensoriales o mentales disminuidas, o
faltas de experiencia o conocimiento; a menos
de que dispongan de supervisin o instruccin
relativa al uso del aparato por parte de una
persona responsable de su seguridad.
Debe vigilarse a los nios para asegurar que
no juegan con el aparato.
Para mayor proteccin, se recomienda la
instalacin de un dispositivo de corriente
residual (RCD) con una corriente residual
operativa que no supere los 30 mA. Pida
consejo a su instalador.

7. LIMPIEZA
Antes de la limpieza, desenchufe el aparato y deje que
se enfre. Limpie las piezas desmontables con agua
tibia y squelas bien antes de proceder a su montaje.
La bandeja y la rejilla de goteo pueden extraerse para
su limpieza.
Limpie el exterior del aparato con un pao ligeramente
hmedo. No utilice disolventes ni productos abrasivos
para su limpieza.
No lo introduzca en agua ni lo ponga bajo el grifo.
8. DESCALCIFICACION
Se aconseja descalcificar el aparato una vez al mes,
aunque este periodo de tiempo puede variar en funcin
de la dureza del agua y de la frecuencia del uso.
Utilizar agua y vinagre de al siguiente manera:
Disuelva 4 cucharadas de vinagre en 2 tazas de
agua y ponga la solucin vinagre / agua en el
depsito.
Ponga la mquina en marcha, haga pasar la mitad de
la solucin por el filtro de salida de agua y la otra mitad
por el conducto del vapor (c)
Repita la operacin 2 veces.
A continuacin haga funcionar el aparato 2 3
veces solamente con agua para eliminara los
residuos de vinagre.
5. PREPARACIN DEL CAPPUCCINO
1. Llene el depsito en funcin de la cantidad de caf
que vaya a hacer y aada una taza o taza y media
ms de agua para hacer vapor.
2. Llene un recipiente preferiblemente metlico de
dimetro pequeo y alto, hasta la mitad de su cabida
con leche bien fra y bajo contenido en grasa.
3. Introduzca el conducto de vapor (c) en el recipiente,
de forma que la boquilla de vapor (d), se sumerja
unos 2 cm. en la leche sin tocar el fondo del
recipiente.
4. Coloque el selector de funciones en la posicin


(fig. 4.3). Espere unos segundos y el
vapor comenzar a salir. Cuando haya terminado de
espumar la leche, gire el selector de funciones a la
posicin "0" (fig. 4.1).
5. Desenchufe el aparato de la red y ponga el selector
de funciones en la posicin

salir todo el vapor que haya podido quedar en el
depsito.
6. Limpie el conducto de vapor (c) y la boquilla de
vapor (d) , despus de cada utilizacin con un
trapo hmedo. Tenga cuidado de no tocarlos
directamente con las manos (ver apartado de
limpieza).
6. CALENTAR LIQUIDOS
Llenar con agua la jarra hasta la marca

y verterla
en el depsito. Cerrar la tapa. Ponga el recipiente con el
lquido bajo el conducto del vapor (d) y gire el selector de
funciones a la posicin

.
Una vez terminado el calentamiento vuelva a colocar el
selector de funciones en la posicin "0". A continuacin,
repita la operacin descrita en el epgrafe anterior desde
el punto 6.5.
Limpieza de la boquilla de vapor:
Limpie el exterior del conducto de vapor con un pao
hmedo inmediatamente despus de haberla utilizado.
Despus de cada uso, dejar salir brevemente vapor.
En el caso de que la obstruccin persista, limpiar la
boquilla usando con cuidado una aguja fina.
Atencin: No intente insertar nada en la boquilla de
vapor, mientras est saliendo vapor, ya que podra
provocar quemaduras.
9. INFORMACIN PARA LA
CORRECTA GESTIN DE LOS
RESIDUOS DE APARATOS
ELCTRICOS Y ELECTRNICOS
Al final de la vida til del aparato, ste
no debe eliminarse mezclado con los
residuos domsticos generales. Puede
entregarse, sin coste alguno, en centros
especficos de recogida, diferenciados
por las administraciones locales, o
distribuidores que faciliten este servicio. Eliminar por
separado un residuo de electrodomstico, significa evitar
posibles consecuencias negativas para el medio ambiente
y la salud, derivadas de una eliminacin inadecuada, y
permite un tratamiento, y reciclado de los materiales que
lo componen, obteniendo ahorros importantes de energa
y recursos. Para subrayar la obligacin de colaborar con
una recogida selectiva, en el producto aparece el marcado
que se muestra como advertencia de la no utilizacin de
contenedores tradicionales para su eliminacin. Para mas
informacin, ponerse en contacto con la autoridad local o
con la tienda donde adquiri el producto.

Desligue o aparelho da rede se no o estiver
a utilizar e antes de proceder limpeza do
mesmo. Deixe arrefecer antes de montar e
desmontar peas e antes de o limpar.
No deixe o aparelho exposto aos agentes
atmosfricos (chuva, sol, gelo, etc.).
No utilize nem coloque nenhuma parte
deste aparelho sobre ou perto de superfcies
quentes (placas de cozinha a gs ou
elctrica, fornos, etc.).
No deixe que o cabo fique pendurado pelo
bordo da superfcie que est apoiado.
No toque as superfcies quentes. Utilize os
punhos ou as asas.
Se o cabo deste aparelho for danificado,
dirija-se a um Centro de Assistencia Tcnica
autorizado para que o substituam.
Em caso de avaria e/ou mau funcionamento
do aparelho, apague-o, retire a ficha da
parede e no tente arranj-lo. Dirija-se a um
Centro de assistncia tcnica autorizado e
exija peas de de substituio e acessrios e
fbrica.
Se decidir eliminar o aparelho
definitivamente, depois de ter retirado a
ficha da parede, aconselhvel inutiliz-lo
cortando o cabo de alimentao.
Este aparelho foi concebido para fazer caf
e aquecer lquidos; ao utiliz-lo dete ter um
cuidado especial para no se queimar com
os jorros de gua quente ou de vapor

O lquido quente de um jarro pode provocar
queimaduras em caso de ruptura. Para evitar
partir o jarro, tome as seguintes precaues:
No utilize um jarro partido ou com o punho
desapertado ou solto. Substitua-o perante
qualquer sinal de deteriorao. Uma fenda
ou o mais troo mais pequeno de vidro
partido poderia partir o jarro ou contaminar o
contedo do lquido com partculas de vidro.
No lave o jarro com nenhum tipo de
esfrego abrasivo ou lquidos que possam
riscar e debilitar o vidro.
O jarro foi concebido para ser utilizado neste
aparelho. No coloque o jarro sobre ou perto
de uma superfcie quente (aquecedor, fogo,
vitrocermica, forno quente, forno micro-
ondas, etc.)
No deixe o jarro sobre uma superfcie
molhada ou fria.
Evite a manipulao violenta e os golpes.
Este aparelho no se destina a ser utilizado
por pessoas (incluindo crianas) com
capacidades fsicas, sensoriais ou mentais
diminudas, ou com falta de experincia
ou conhecimentos, excepto quando
supervisionadas ou instrudas, relativamente
utilizao do aparelho, por uma pessoa
responsvel pela sua segurana.
As crianas devem ser mantidas sob
vigilncia para garantir que no brincam com
o aparelho.
Para uma maior proteco, recomenda-se
a instalao de um dispositivo de corrente
residual (RCD) com uma corrente residual
operacional que no supere os 30 mA.
Aconselhe-se com o tcnico de instalao.
3. ANTES DA PRIMEIRA UTILIZAO
Antes de usar o aparelho pela primeira vez, lave
bem todas as peas desmontveis com gua
morna e detergente (o filtro, o porta-filtros e o
jarro de vidro com a tampa).
Para lavar o interior ponha a cafeteira a trabalhar
duas vezes seguidas sem colocar caf no filtro.
Para este processo siga as instrues da seco
"Preparao do caf".
4. PREPARAO DO CAF
Para a preparao do caf utilize sempre gua
fria.
1. Retire a tampa do depsito e encha a
quantidade de gua que quiser, tendo em
conta que o mnimo so 2 chvenas e que o
mximo so 4 chvenas. Coloque novamente
a tampa do depsito de forma apropriada.
2. Encaixe o no porta-filtro (fig. 1). Encha o filtro
com a quantidade necessria de caf modo
para 2 ou 4 chvenas (veja as marcas no
interior do filtro. Limpe os restos de caf do
rebordo do porta-filtro. No prense o caf
nem passe da marca de 4 chvenas.
3. Coloque o porta-filtro, respeitando as setas
indicadoras, rodando-o at posio "OK"
(fig. 2).
4. Coloque o jarro de vidro sobre a grade
de escoamento, de forma a que o orifcio
central da tampa esteja mesmo por baixo da
boquilha de sada de caf.
5. Ligue o aparelho rede e situe o selector
de funes na posio

(fig. 3.b).
O aparelho vai demora uns minutos para
alcanar a temperatura adequada.
6. Assim que tiver sado toda a gua, coloque o
selector de funes na posio "0". Apaga-se
o piloto de funcionamento (fig. 3.a)
7. Desligue o aparelho e, a seguir, rode o
selector de funes at posio

(fig.
3.c), para fazer sair todo o vapor que possa
ter ficado no depsito.
8. Espere aproximadamente 2 minutos antes
de retirar o porta-filtro do aparelho. Retire
o porta-filtro rodado-o no sentido inverso.
Segure o filtro com a alavanca de fixao (h)
e esvazie-o (fig. 4).
5. PREPARAO DO CAPPUCCINO
1. Encha o depsito em funo da quantidade
de caf que fizer e junte mais uma chvena ou
chvena e meia de gua para fazer vapor.
2. Encha um recipiente preferivelmente metlico de
pequeno dimetro e alto, at metade da sua
capacidade com leite bem frio meio gordo ou
magro.
3. Introduza a conduta de vapor (c) no recipiente,
de forma a que a boquilha de vapor (d) entre

anterior desde o ponto 5.5.

acabado de fazer espuma, rode o selector de
funes at posio "0" (fig. 3.a).
5. Desligue o aparelho da rede e coloque o
selector de funes na posio

fazer sair todo o vapor que possa ter ficado no
depsito.
6. Limpe a conduta de vapor (c) e a boquilha de
vapor (d) , depois de cada utilizao com um
pano hmido. Tenha cuidado para no tocar
directamente com as mos (ver seco de
limpeza).
7. LIMPEZA
Antes de limpar o aparelho, retire a ficha da
tomada e deixe arrefecer. Lave as peas
desmontveis com gua morna e seque-as
bem antes de as montar. A bandeja e a grade
de escoamento podem ser retiradas para serem
limpas.
Limpe o exterior do aparelho com um pano
ligeiramente hmido. No utilize dissolventes nem
produtos abrasivos para limp-la.
No coloque o aparelho em gua nem o ponha
por baixo da gua da torneira.
Limpeza da boquilha de vapor:
Limpe o exterior da conduta de vapor com um
pano hmido imediatamente depois de a ter
utilizado. Depois de cada utilizao, deixe sair
brevemente vapor. Se a obstruo continuar, limpe
a boquilha, usando uma agulha fina com cuidado.
Ateno: No tente inserir nada na boquilha de

aconselhvel descalcificar o aparelho uma
vez por ms, embora este perodo de tempo
possa variar em funo da dureza da gua e da
frequncia de utilizao.
Utilize gua e vinagre da seguinte maneira:
Dissolva 4 colheres de vinagre em 2 chvenas
de gua e deite a soluo de vinagre/gua no
depsito.
Coloque a mquina a funcionar, faa passar a
metade da soluo pelo filtro de sada de gua
e a outra metade pela conduta do vapor (c)
Repita a operao 2 vezes.
A seguir, ponha o aparelho a trabalhar 2 ou 3
vezes s com gua para eliminar os resduos
de vinagre.

3. BEFORE USING FOR
THE FIRST TIME
Before using the coffee maker for the first
time, carefully clean all the removable parts
with warm water and detergent (the filter,
filter holder and glass carafe with its lid).
To clean the inside of the coffee maker,
run it twice without any coffee in the filter.
For details of this procedure, see the
instructions in the "Making coffee" section.
4. MAKING COFFEE
Always use cold water to make coffee.
1. Take the lid off the water tank and fill it
up with the desired amount of water (2
cups minimum and 4 cups maximum).
Fit the lid correctly back onto the water
tank again.
2. Fit the filter into the filter holder (fig. 1).
Place the desired amount of ground
coffee for 2 or 4 cups in the filter
(observe the marks on the inside of the
filter). Clean any coffee residues from
the edge of the filter holder. Do not
compress the coffee or exceed the 4-
cup mark.
3. Fit the filter holder onto the coffee maker
in the direction of the arrows and turn it
to "OK" position (fig. 2).
4. Place the glass carafe on the drip grid
so that the hole in the centre of the lid is
directly underneath the coffee nozzle.
5. 5. Plug in the coffee maker and turn
the function selector to

(fig. 3.b).
The appliance will take a few minutes to
reach the correct temperature.
6. When all the water has gone, turn the
function selector to "0". The pilot light
will switch off (fig. 3.a).
7. Unplug the appliance and then turn the
function selector to

(fig. 3.c), so that
all the steam left in the tank is expelled.
8. Wait for approximately 2 minutes before
removing the filter holder from the
appliance. To remove the filter holder,
turn it in the opposite direction. Hold it
by its lever (h) and empty it (fig. 4).
5. MAKING CAPPUCCINO COFFEE
1. Fill the water tank with the amount of
water for the desired number of cups of
coffee, and add 1 or 11/2 more cups of
water to make steam.
2. Fill a tall, narrow container (preferably
metal) half-full of very cold low-fat milk.
3. Place the steam pipe (c) in the container,
with the steam nozzle (d) submerged
about 2 cm in the milk, without touching
the bottom of the container.

6. HEATING UP LIQUIDS
Fill the carafe up with water to the

and empty this water into the tank. Close the
lid. Put the container with the liquid under the
steam pipe (d) and turn the function selector
to

When you have finished heating up the
liquid, turn the function selector back to "0".
Then repeat points 5 and 6 of the process
described in the previous section above.
7. CLEANING
Before cleaning the appliance, unplug
it and allow it to cool down. Clean the
removable parts with warm water and dry
them carefully before replacing them again.
The drip tray and grid can be removed for
cleaning.
Clean the outside of the coffee maker with
a slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents
or abrasive products to clean it.
Do not submerge the appliance in water or
place it under the tap.
Cleaning the steam nozzle:
Clean the outside of the steam pipe with
a damp cloth immediately after use. Expel
a short jet of steam after each use. If the
obstruction persists, clean the nozzle
carefully using a fine needle.
Important: Do not insert any objects into
the steam nozzle while steam is being
expelled, as this could cause burns.
8. DESCALING
We recommend descaling the coffee maker
once a month, although this may vary
depending on water hardness and frequency
of use.
Use water and vinegar as follows:
Dissolve 4 spoonfuls of vinegar in 2 cups
of water and pour this water/vinegar
solution into the tank.
Switch on the coffee maker. Allow half
of the solution to come out through
the water outlet filter and the other half
through the steam pipe (c).
Repeat this process twice.
Then run the coffee maker 2 or 3 times
with only water in it, to remove any
vinegar residues.

3. AVANT LA PREMIRE UTILISATION
Avant dutiliser lappareil pour la premire fois,
nettoyer soigneusement toutes les pices
dmontables avec de leau tide et du dtergent
(le filtre, le porte-filtres, la verseuse en verre et son
couvercle). Pour nettoyer lintrieur, faire fonctionner
la cafetire deux fois de suite sans caf dans
le filtre. Pour ce faire, suivre les instructions du
paragraphe Prparation du caf .
4. PRPARATION DU CAF
Pour prparer du caf, utiliser toujours de leau
froide.
1. Retirer le couvercle du rservoir et le remplir
de la quantit deau souhaite. Minimum 2
tasses et maximum 4 tasses. Remettre en
place le couvercle du rservoir.
2. Emboter le filtre dans le porte-filtres (Fig. 1).
Remplir le filtre avec la quantit ncessaire
de caf moulu pour 2 ou 4 tasses (respecter
les niveaux indiqus lintrieur du filtre).
Nettoyer les restes de caf adhrs au bord
du porte-filtres. Ne pas tasser le caf ni
dpasser le niveau de 4 tasses.
3. Enclencher le porte-filtres, en respectant les
flches et en le faisant tourner pour le situer
en position "OK"(Fig. 2).
4. Dposer la verseuse en verre sur la grille-
gouttoir, de telle sorte que lorifice central
du couvercle soit situ juste sous la buse de
sortie du caf.
5. 5. Brancher lappareil au secteur et situer
le slecteur de fonctions en position

(Fig. 3.b). Lappareil mettra quelques minutes
atteindre la temprature adquate.
6. Une fois toute leau expulse, situer le
slecteur de fonctions en position "0". Le
tmoin de fonctionnement steindra (Fig. 3.a).
7. 7. Dbrancher lappareil et faire tourner le
slecteur de fonctions jusqu la position


(Fig. 3.c), afin dvacuer toute la vapeur
contenue dans le rservoir.
8. Attendre environ 2 minutes avant de retirer
le porte-filtres de lappareil. Retirer le porte-
filtres en le faisant tourner en sens inverse.
Saisir le filtre avec le levier de fixation (h) et le
vider (Fig. 4).
5. PRPARATION DU CAPPUCCINO
1. Remplir le rservoir en fonction de la quantit
de caf prparer et ajouter une tasse ou tasse
et demie deau pour la production de vapeur.
2. Remplir un rcipient, de prfrence mtallique,
de petit diamtre et haut, jusqu la moiti de sa
capacit avec du lait bien froid et faible teneur
en graisse.
3. Introduire la buse vapeur (c) dans le rcipient,
de telle sorte que le bec vapeur (d), soit

Avant de procder lentretien de lappareil,
lteindre et le laisser refroidir. Nettoyer les
pices dmontables leau tide et les essuyer
soigneusement avant de les remettre en place. Le
bac et la grille-gouttoir peuvent tre retirs pour
leur nettoyage.
Nettoyer lextrieur de lappareil avec un chiffon
humide. Ne pas utiliser de solvants ni de produits
abrasifs.
Ne jamais immerger lappareil dans leau ni le
nettoyer sous le robinet.
Entretien de la buse vapeur:
Nettoyer lextrieur de la buse vapeur avec un
chiffon humide, immdiatement aprs chaque
utilisation. Laisser galement schapper un

nicht zu Verbrennungen durch heie
Wasserstrahlen oder Wasserdampf
kommt.
Berhren Sie die heien Teile des Gerts
nicht (Dampf-/Wasserohr, Zufhrbereich in
der Nhe des Filtertrgers und Filters).
Nehmen Sie das Gert nicht in Betrieb,
wenn sich kein Wasser im Wasserbehlter
befindet.
Wenn das Gert in Betrieb ist, steht
es unter Druck. Der Deckel des
Wasserbehlters darf in diesem Zustand
nicht geffnet und der Filtertrger nicht
herausgenommen werden.
Wenn die Kanne zerbricht, kann die heie
Flssigkeit zu Verbrennungen fhren.
Um den Bruch der Kanne zu vermeiden,
treffen Sie bitte folgende Vorkehrungen:
Benutzen Sie keine gesprungene Kanne
oder Kannen, bei denen der Griff lose
oder nicht mehr tragfhig ist. Wenn
Sie an der Kanne Schden feststellen,
tauschen Sie sie bitte aus. Risse oder ein
herausgebrochenes kleines Glasstck
kann den Bruch der Kanne zur Folge
haben oder aber feine Glassplitter in der
Flssigkeit ablagern.
Reinigen Sie die Kanne nicht mit
kratzenden Schwmmen oder
Scheuermittel, die das Glas zerkratzen
und angreifen knnten.
Die Kanne ist fr den Gebrauch in diesem
Gert vorgesehen. Stellen Sie sie nicht auf
oder in die Nhe von Wrmequellen (fen,
Herd, Kochplatte, Mikrowellenherd, etc.).
Stellen Sie die Kanne nicht auf feuchte
oder kalte Flchen.
Gehen Sie schonend mit ihr um und
vermeiden Sie Ste.
Dieses Gertes ist nicht bestimmt fr
die Nutzung von Personen (Kinder
eingeschlossen) mit eingeschrnkten
krperlichen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Funktionen oder fehlender
Erfahrung oder Bewusstsein, wenn
sie nicht einer berwachung oder
eine Unterweisung in Bezug auf die
Benutzung des Gerts durch eine fr
Sicherheit verantwortliche Personen
vorgenommen erhalten.

3. VOR DEM ERSTEN GEBRAUCH
Bevor Sie das Gert das erste Mal benutzen,
reinigen Sie bitte alle abnehmbaren Teile mit
lauwarmem Wasser und Splmittel (Filter,
Filtertrger, Glaskanne und deren Deckel).
Um das Innere der Kaffeemaschine zu
reinigen, lassen Sie bitte zwei Mal Wasser
ohne Kaffee durchlaufen. Folgen Sie dabei
den Hinweisen des Abschnitts Zubereitung
des Kaffees".
4. ZUBEREITUNG DES KAFFEES
Benutzen Sie zum Zubereiten des Kaffees
nur kaltes Wasser.
1. Nehmen Sie den Deckel des
Wasserbehlters ab und fllen sie die
gewnschte Menge Wasser ein. Dabei
entspricht die Mindesteinfllmenge 2
Tassen, die maximale Wassermenge 4
Tassen. Setzen Sie anschlieend den
Deckel des Wasserbehlters wieder
richtig auf.
2. Setzen Sie den Filter in den Filtertrger
(Abb. 1). Fllen Sie die entsprechende
Menge gemahlenen Kaffee fr 2 oder 4
Tassen in den Filter (beachten Sie die
Markierungen auf der Innenseite des
Filters). Entfernen Sie die Kaffeereste
vom Rand des Filtertrgers. Pressen Sie
den Kaffee nicht an und berschreiten
Sie die Markierung fr 4 Tassen nicht.
3. Setzen Sie den Filtertrger den Pfeilen
gem ein und drehen Sie ihn auf die
Position "OK" (Abb. 2).
4. Stellen Sie die Glaskanne auf das
Tropfgitter, so dass die mittlere ffnung
des Deckels sich direkt unter der Kaffee-
Austrittsdse befindet.
5. Schlieen Sie das Gert ans Netz
sich zu versichern, dass sie nicht mit
dem Gert spielen.
Fr einen besseren Schutz wird
die Installation einer Einrichtung fr
Reststrom (RCD) empfohlen, mit einem
operativen Reststrom der 30 mA
nicht berschreitet. Fragen Sie Ihren
Installateur um Rat.

5. ZUBEREITUNG VON CAPUCCINO
1. Fllen Sie die fr den zuzubereitenden
Kaffee notwendige Wassermenge in den
Wasserbehlter und geben Sie dann 1
bis 1 1/2 weitere Tassen Wasser fr den
Wasserdampf hinzu.
2. Fllen Sie einen hohen Behlter mit
geringem Durchmesser, vorzugsweise
aus Metall bis zur Hlfte mit kalter und
fettarmer Milch.
3. Fhren Sie das Dampfrohr (c) in den
Behlter, so dass die Dampfdse (d)
ca. 2 cm in die Milch getaucht ist, ohne
jedoch den Boden des Behlters zu
berhren.
4. Drehen Sie den Funktionsschalter auf
eine Position des Einstellbereichs fr
Dampf, zwischen den beiden Symbolen

(Abb. 3.c). Warten Sie einige
Sekunden, bis der Dampf austritt. Wenn
die Milch genug Schaum aufweist,
drehen Sie den Funktionsschalter auf die
Position "0" (Abb 3.a).
5. Unterbrechen Sie den Netzkontakt und
stellen Sie den Wahlschalter auf Position
, damit der gesamte restliche Dampf
aus dem Wasserbehlter austreten kann.
6. Reinigen Sie das Dampfrohr (c) und die
Dampfdse (d) nach jeder Benutzung
mit einem feuchten Tuch. Berhren Sie

Fllen Sie die Kamme bis zur Markierung

mit Wasser und gieen Sie dieses
dann in den Wasserbehlter. Schlieen Sie
den Deckel. Stellen Sie das Gef mit der
Flssigkeit unter das Dampfrohr (d) und
drehen Sie den Wahlschalter auf die Position
.
Wenn die Flssigkeit erhitzt ist, stellen Sie
den Wahlschalter bitte auf Position "0".
Anschlieend folgen Sie bitte den Anleitungen
des Kapitels 5, Punkt 5 und 6.
7. REINIGUNG
Unterbrechen Sie vor dem Reinigen den
Netzanschluss des Gertes und warten
Sie, bis es abgekhlt ist. Reinigen Sie
herausnehmbaren Teile mit lauwarmem
Wasser und trocknen Sie sie gut, bevor
Sie sie wieder einsetzen. Die Tropfschale
und das Gitter knnen zum Reinigen
herausgenommen werden.
Reinigen Sie das Gert auen mit einem
leicht feuchten Tuch. Verwenden Sie keine
Lse- oder Scheuermittel. Tauchen Sie das
Gert nicht in Wasser und halten Sie es
nicht unter den Wasserhahn.
Reinigen der Dampfdse:
Reinigen Sie das Dampfrohr auen direkt
nach der Benutzung mit einem feuchten
Tuch. Lassen Sie nach jeder Benutzung
kurz Dampf austreten. Sollte es trotzdem zu
einer Verstopfung kommen, reinigen Sie die
Dse vorsichtig mit einer feinen Nadel.
Achtung: Fhren Sie nichts in die Dse ein,
solange Dampf austritt. Der heie Dampf
kann Verbrennungen verursachen.
8. ENTKALKEN
Es ist empfehlenswert, das Gert
einmal pro Monat zu entkalken. Die
Entkalkungshufigkeit kann jedoch in
und Stellen Sie den Wahlschalter auf
die Position

(Abb. 3.b). Das
Gert braucht einige Minuten, um die
geeignete Temperatur zur erreichen.
6. Wenn das gesamte Wasser
durchgelaufen ist, stellen Sie den
Wahlschalter bitte auf Position "0". Die
Betriebsleuchte schaltet aus (Abb. 3.a)
7. Unterbrechen Sie den Netzanschluss
und drehen den Wahlschalter dann
auf Position

gesamte Dampf austritt, der noch im
Wasserbehlter vorhanden ist.
8. Warten Sie bitte ca. 2 Minuten, bevor Sie
den Filtertrger aus dem Gert nehmen.
Zum Herausnehmen drehen Sie ihn bitte
in umgekehrte Richtung. Halten Sie den
Filter am Traghebel (h) und leeren Sie ihn
aus (Abb. 4).

Am Ende seiner Nutzzeit
darf das Produkt NICHT
zusammen mit dem
Hausmll beseitigt werden.
Es kann zu den eigens von
den rtlichen Behrden
eingerichteten Sammelstellen oder zu den
Fachhndlern, die einen Rcknahmeservice
anbieten, gebracht werden. Die getrennte
Entsorgung eines Haushaltsgertes
vermeidet mgliche negative Auswirkungen
auf die Umwelt und die Gesundheit,
die durch eine nicht vorschriftsmige
Entsorgung bedingt sind. Zudem ermglicht
sie die Wiederverwertung der Bestandteile
des Gertes, was wiederum eine
bedeutende Einsparung an Energie und
Ressourcen mit sich bringt.
Zum Unterstreichen der Verpflichtung zur
Mitwirkung bei der getrennten Entsorgung
ist auf dem Produkt ein Hinweissymbol
dafr angebracht, dass dieses Produkt nicht
in blichen Hausmllcontainern entsorgt
werden darf.
Fr weitere Informationen wenden Sie sich
bitte an die rtliche Verwaltung oder an den
Hndler, bei dem Sie das Produkt erworben
haben.
Funktion der Wasserhrte und der Nutzung
des Gerts schwanken.
Benutzen Sie zum Entkalken Wasser und
Essig:
Lsen Sie 4 Lffel Essig in zwei Tassen
Wasser und geben Sie diese Lsung in
den Wasserbehlter.
Schalten Sie die Maschine ein und lassen
Sie die Hlfte der Lsung durch den
Durchlauffilter laufen, die andere durch
das Dampfrohr (c).
Wiederholen Sie die Operation zweimal.
Lassen Sie dann zwei- oder dreimal
sauberes Wasser durch das Gert laufen,
um die Essigreste zu beseitigen.

Per proteggersi dalle scosse elettriche, non
immergere l'apparecchio n il cavo o la spina
in acqua o qualsiasi altro liquido.
Non permettere che i bambini o le persone
disabili tocchino l'apparecchio senza
sorveglianza.
Disinserire la spina dell'apparecchio dalla
presa di corrente quando non lo si usa e
prima di pulirlo. Lasciarlo raffreddare prima di
montare e di smontare i vari pezzi e prima di
pulirlo.
Non lasciare l'apparecchio esposto alle
intemperie (pioggia, sole, gelo, ecc.).
Non appoggiare o usare questo apparecchio
su una superficie riscaldata (piani di cottura a
o elettrici, forni, ecc) o nei pressi della stessa.
Non lasciare penzolare il cavo dal bordo della
superficie su cui appoggiato.
Non toccare le superfici riscaldate
dell'apparecchio. Usare le apposite
impugnature.
Se il cavo di questo apparecchio
danneggiato, per la sostituzione rivolgersi ad
un centro di Assistenza Tecnica autorizzato.
In caso di guasto e/o funzionamento anomalo
dell'apparecchio, spegnerlo e non cercare di
ripararlo. Rivolgersi ad un centro di Assistenza
Tecnica autorizzato e richiedere l'uso di pezzi
di ricambio ed accessori originali.
Se si decide di smaltire definitivamente
l'apparecchio, una volta staccata la spina dalla
presa, renderlo inutilizzabile tagliando il cavo
di alimentazione.
Questo apparecchio stato progettato per
preparare il caff e riscaldare liquidi; nell'uso,
bisogna fare attenzione a non ustionarsi con il
getto di acqua calda o di vapore.
Non toccare le parti riscaldate
dell'apparecchio (tubo del vapore/acqua, zona
a contatto con il portafiltro o il filtro).
Non mettere in funzionamento l'apparecchio
senza acqua nel serbatoio.
Quando l'apparecchio in funzionamento
sotto pressione e non si deve aprire il
coperchio del serbatoio o togliere il portafiltro.
Il liquido caldo contenuto nella caraffa pu
provocare ustioni in caso di rottura. Per
evitare che si rompa la caraffa, adottare i
seguenti accorgimenti:
Una volta rimosso l'imballaggio, controllare che
il prodotto sia integro. In caso di dubbio, non
usare l'apparecchio e rivolgersi ad un centro di
Assistenza Tecnico autorizzato.
I sacchetti di plastica contenenti il prodotto, non
devono essere lasciati alla portata dei bambini,
dato che per loro rappresentano un pericolo
potenzia.
L'apparecchio deve essere destinato
esclusivamente all'uso domestico per cui
stato progettato e descritto in questo manuale.
Qualsiasi un altro uso deve ritenersi pericoloso.
Nell'uso degli apparecchi elettrici, occorre
rispettare alcune norme di sicurezza basilari per
ridurre il rischio di fuoco, scosse elettriche e/o
danni a persone:

Leggere attentamente questo prospetto e
conservarlo per successive consultazioni.

2. AVVERTENZE RELATIVE ALLA
SICUREZZA

Non usare una caraffa rotta o con il manico
allentato o poco resistente. Sostituirla
non appena si osserva qualche indizio di
deterioramento. Una scheggiatura o la rottura
di un pezzetto di vetro della caraffa potrebbe
causare la rottura della caraffa ed inquinare il
liquido con frammenti di vetro.
Non pulire la caraffa con prodotti abrasivi che
potrebbero graffiare o rendere pi fragile il
vetro.
La caraffa stata progettata per essere usata
con questo apparecchio. Non appoggiare la
caraffa nei pressi o su una superficie riscaldata
(stufa, fornello, piano di cottura, forno caldo,
forno convenzionale o a microonde, ecc.)
Non appoggiare la caraffa calda su una
superficie bagnata o fredda.
Evitare gli urti e gli spostamenti bruschi.
Questo apparecchio non destinato per
essere usato da persone (compresi i bambini)
portatrici di handicap, o privi di esperienza
o conoscenza; a meno che dispongano di
supervisione o la relativa istruzione sulluso
dellapparecchio da parte di una persona
responsabile della loro sicurezza.
I bambini devono essere vigilati affinch non
giochino con lapparecchio.
Per maggior protezione, si raccomanda
linstallazione di un dispositivo di corrente
residuale (RCD) con una corrente residuale
operativa che non superi i 30 mA. Chiedere
consiglio al proprio installatore.
3. PRIMA DI USARE L'APPARECCHIO PER LA
PRIMA VOLTA
Prima di usare l'apparecchio per la prima volta,
pulire bene tutti i pezzi smontabili con acqua
tiepida e detergente (il filtro, il portafiltro e la
caraffa di vetro con il relativo coperchio).
Per pulire l'interno, fare funzionare due volte
la caffettiera senza mettere caff nel filtro.
Per farlo, seguire le istruzioni del capitolo
"Preparazione del caff".
4. PREPARAZIONE DEL CAFF
Per la preparazione del caff, usare sempre
acqua fredda.
1. Togliere il coperchio dal serbatoio e riempirlo
con la quantit di acqua richiesta, tenendo
conto che il minimo sono 2 tazze e il massimo
4 tazze. Rimettere a posto il coperchio del
serbatoio.
2. Incastrare il filtro nel portafiltro (Fig. 1).
Riempire il filtro con la quantit necessaria di
caff macinato per 2 o 4 tazze (osservare le
tacche all'interno del filtro). Eliminare le tracce
di caff dal bordo del portafiltro. Non premere
il caff n superare il livello indicante 4 tazze.
3. Inserire il portafiltro, nel senso delle frecce e
girarlo fino alla posizione "OK" (Fig. 2).
4. Appoggiare la caraffa sulla griglia, in modo
tale che il foro centrale del coperchio si trovi
sotto l'ugello di uscita del caff.
5. Inserire la spina del'apparecchio nella presa
di corrente e girare il selettore delle funzioni
nella posizione

(Fig. 3.b). Dopo
qualche minuto l'apparecchio raggiungere la
temperatura adeguata.
6. Una volta uscita tutta l'acqua, mettere il
selettore delle funzioni sulla posizione "0".
Si spegne cos la spia di funzionamento (Fig.
3.a)
7. Staccare la spina del'apparecchio dalla presa
di corrente e situare il selettore delle funzioni
sulla posizione

(Fig. 3.c), per fare
uscire tutto il vapore eventualmente rimasto
nel serbatoio.
8. Attendere circa 2 minuti prima di rimuovere il
portafiltro dall'apparecchio. Per farlo, girare il
portafiltro in senso contrario. Afferrare il filtro
dalla leva di fissaggio (h) e svuotarlo (Fig. 4).
5. PREPARAZIONE DEL
CAPPUCCINO
1. Riempire il serbatoio in funzione della quantit
di caff che si desidera preparare e aggiungere
una tazza o una tazza e mezza in pi di acqua
per ottenere il vapore.
2. Riempire un recipiente preferibilmente metallico,
alto e dal diametro piccolo, fino a met della
propria capienza con latte freddo a basso tenore
di grasso.
3. Inserire il tubo del vapore (c) nel recipiente,
in modo tale da immergere di circa 2 cm il
beccuccio erogatore del vapore (d) nel latte,
senza toccare il fondo del recipiente.
4. Girare il selettore delle funzioni in una
posizione nel campo di regolazione del
vapore, tra i simboli

6. RISCALDAMENTO DI LIQUIDI
Riempire d'acqua la caraffa fino alla tacca

e
versarla nel serbatoio. Chiudere il coperchio. Mettere
il recipiente con il liquido sotto il tubo del vapore (d)
e girare il comando del selettore delle funzioni sulla
posizione

.
Una volta concluso il riscaldamento, girare il selettore
delle funzioni sulla posizione "0". Ripetere quindi
l'operazione descritta al punto 5.5.
7. PULIZIA
Prima della pulizia, disinserire la spina
dell'apparecchio dalla presa e lasciarlo
raffreddare. Pulire i pezzi smontabili con
acqua tiepida ed asciugarli bene prima di
rimontarli. Il vassoio raccogligocce e la griglia
sono estraibili per agevolarne la pulizia.
Pulire l'esterno dell'apparecchio con uno
straccetto leggermente inumidito. Per la
pulizia, non usare detersivi o prodotti abrasivi,
n solventi.
Non immergere l'apparecchia in acqua, n
metterlo sotto il rubinetto dell'acqua.
Pulizia del beccuccio erogatore del vapore:
Pulire l'esterno del tubo del vapore con un
panno umido subito dopo l'uso. Dopo ogni
uso, lasciare uscire un po' di vapore. Se
l'ostruzione persiste, pulire il beccuccio con
un ago fine.
Attenzione: Non cercare di inserire alcun
oggetto nel beccuccio erogatore mentre sta
uscendo il vapore, dato che si potrebbero
provocare ustioni.
8. DECALCIFICAZIONE
Si consiglia di decalcificare l'apparecchio una
volta al mese, anche se questo periodo di tempo
pu variare in funzione della durezza dell'acqua e
della frequenza dell'uso.
Usare acqua e aceto nel modo seguente:
Mescolare 4 cucchiaiate di aceto in 2 tazze
di acqua e versare la soluzione aceto / acqua
nel serbatoio.
Mettere in moto l'apparecchio, fare passare
la met della soluzione dal filtro di uscita
dell'acqua e l'altra met dal tubo del vapore (c).
Ripetere 2 volte questa operazione.
Quindi fare funzionare l'apparecchio 2 o 3
volte solo con acqua per eliminare qualunque
traccia di aceto.
Attendere qualche secondo e il vapore
comincia ad uscire. Quando si finisce
di montare il latte, girare il comando del
selettore delle funzioni sulla posizione "0"
(Fig. 3.a).
5. Staccare la spina dell'apparecchio dalla presa di
corrente e girare il selettore delle funzioni sulla
posizione

per fare uscire tutto il vapore
eventualmente rimasto nel serbatoio.
6. Dopo ogni uso, pulire con un panno umido il
tubo del vapore (c) e il beccuccio erogatore
del vapore (d). Fare attenzione a non toccarli
direttamente con le mani (vedi capitolo
dedicato alla pulizia).
9. INFORMAZIONI PER LA CORRETTA
GESTIONE DEI RESIDUI DI

Alla fine della sua vita
utile il prodotto non deve
esser smaltito insieme ai
rifiuti urbani. Pu essere
consegnato presso gli
appositi centri di raccolta
differenziata predisposti dalle
amministrazioni comunali, oppure presso i
rivenditori che forniscono questo servizio.
Smaltire separatamente un elettrodomestico
consente di evitare possibili conseguenze
negative per lambiente e per la salute
derivanti da un suo smaltimento inadeguato
e permette di recuperare i materiali di cui
composto al fine di ottenere un importante
risparmio di energia e di risorse.
Per sottolineare lobbligo di collaborare con
una raccolta selettiva, sul prodotto appare
il contrassegno raffigurante lavvertenza del
mancato uso dei contenitori tradizionali per
lo smaltimento.
