Ceiling of loan The maximum ceiling limits that can be considered for financing to women beneficiaries under this scheme will be as per the directives of RBI stipulated for various sectors under priority sector such as loans upto Rs 20.00 lakhs under retail trade, Rs 20 lakhs under education and housing and Rs 50000/- under micro credit as well as Bank's specific schemes circulated to branches / offices from time to time.

Description
This scheme aims at providing hassle free credit facility to small businessmen, retail traders, artisans, professionals, selfemployed persons and small industrial units

Margin
Existing customers with a satisfactory track record under the above categories enjoying working capital limits up to Rs. 10 lakhs for the last three years are eligible.

Loan
Credit Card Limit is fixed at 20 per cent of annual turnover declared for tax purpose in the case of artisans, businessmen, traders, small entrepreneurs including tiny sector. For self employed and professionals, at 50 per cent of the gross annual income as per IT Returns. The maximum per party credit card limit is Rs. 10 lakhs.

Dena Paryavaran Suraksha Yojana

Name

Description

LOAN AMOUNT:Maximum loan amount is Rs 25,000/ or Cost of CNG/LPG Kit whichever is less.

REPAYMENT :The loan is repayable in 36 Equated Monthly installments in 3 years. A moratorium up to three months may be given on merit of each case. The first installment of loan shall fall due after one month of disbursement of loan / moratorium period.However, the interest during the moratorium period is to be repaid every month.

A Scheme for Conversion / Retrofitting of CNG/ LPG kits in Auto Rickshaws" : The Scheme aims at providing term loan for Conversion / Retrofitting of CNG/ LPG kits in Auto Rickshaws so as to curb pollution .

INTEREST RATES:Accordingly, the existing applicable rate of interest under this scheme is Base Rate + Spread i.e., 8.25+3.25= 11.50% p.a.

Description
A scheme for providing financial assistance for construction of Lavatories / and Bathrooms in rural areas so as to create hygienic conditions in rural areas so as to make the living conditions in villages clean and hygienic . The unit cost for the above purpose shall vary from place to place depending upon the purpose for which loan is to be extended .

Loan
Maximum loan amount is Rs 10,000/ subject to unit cost as approved by respective State Government / Government of India or as estimated by the Branch Officials .

Repayment
The loan is to be repaid in 5 years including a moratorium period of 3 months from the date of disbursement .

Intrest Rate
At present , rate of interest Base Rate+ Spread i.e., 8.25+0.75= 9.00% p.a In case of SC/ST beneficiaries only who are satisfying eligibility criteria under DRI scheme loans upto Rs 5000/ may be sanctioned with interest @ 4% p.a.

NAME

DESCRIPTION
This is a solar system to heat water upto a temperature of 60-800C . It consists of i) Flat Plate Collector (FPC) or ii) Evacuated Tube Collector (ETC) and a insulated hot water storage tank. The system is normally mounted on the floor top / adjacent land

LOAN
The customers / borrowers will be eligible for loan up to 85% of the cost of the system which at present varies from Rs. 0.18 lakh to Rs. 2.91 lakh depending upon the system with collector area and is repayable within a period of five years

In her address, Ms. Jay Chakraborty stated that Dena Bank nationalized in 1969 is now a reputed Public Sector bank primarily involved in commercial banking and other related services. A strong player in the States of Gujarat, Maharashtra and MP though, Dena Bank has pan India presence. The total business of the Bank i.e. total deposits plus gross advances increased from Rs.72236 crore in March 2009 to Rs. 87066 crores in March 2010, registering a growth of 20.52%. Apropos of the Govt. Policy, the Banks thrust areas for credit expansion, with emphasis on risk dispersal continued to be on SME, retail and agriculture sectors. SME loans stood at Rs.5647 crores showing an increase of 18.26% as at March 2010. According to Ms. Chakroborty, Dena Bank has initiated number of measures to meet the needs and aspirations of SME entrepreneurs, such as: 68 branches of the Bank located in SME clusters of the country have been specialized as SME branches, fully equipped to take care of the banking needs of SME entrepreneurs. These Branches have been delegated additional sanctioning powers to meet the credit requirements to SME units. Special Products/ Schemes devised for SME sector, Tie up with SIDBI for co-financing of MSME Units. Tie up with SMERA,CRISIL, etc. for credit rating at concessional fee for MSMEs, ROI linked to the credit ratings of the SME units.(Above Rs. 10 Lacs), SME Help Desks have been established at Regional Offices to provide counseling and guidance services to entrepreneurs, SME entrepreneurs meet are organized at specialized branches to understand the problems and requirements of SME entrepreneurs, Loans up to Rs.50 lacs are collateral free if covered under CGTMSE.
