From the Pastors Desk - Why we are here

Gods love with those in our community. We are here to take the Gospel message beyond our walls and let those around us see light even and especially when they feel surrounded by darkness. As your pastor, as your friend, and as part of your family, I come this month saying Well done as I know Jesus would say the same as we not only told the children and adults about God but showed them through our service. This past week, many saw God sightings. many of these are one the wall this morning. But the greatest sighting was seeing so many come together in worship, in praise, and with a heart to grow. May it always be so here at Bright Hope Laurel and in the Upper Laurel Community.

The outcome God gave us that. With an average attendance for the week of 57 children,

and not see God among us. The week was a great one with the Gatewoods leading the adults in a study of Acts and with the children hearing the truth of who Jesus was, who Jesus is, and what that means for their lives. With each night, children came excited and ready to hear Gods Word no matter if it was in their tribes, at the Market Place, or in Marys House. Why are we here? Why build a church in the mountains?
