Principal Engineer (PE-11) We currently have opportunities for Principal Software Engineers to join our Hyderabad development team.

This is an extremely challenging role and would suit a technical enthusiast with a proven aptitude for software development in a product R&D driven environment. You should have a proven technical background and previous responsibility for the Design, Test and Integration of complex Software solutions while delivering excellent technical leadership. Latens is a leader in its sector and as a result has won a number of business and technology awards To find out more visit: http://www.latens.com Job Purpose/Principal Accountabilities This role will provide you with the opportunity to: Design and develop software for set top boxes, smartphones and other devices Work with open source products and projects, including the webkit browser platform Work in an agile development environment Get involved in future product direction and development by collaborating with development teams, architects, support engineers and project managers Manage relationships with our partners to provide integrated solutions for Latens customers Mentor software engineers in software development best practices, emphasising the importance of quality and working within agreed time scales Make process and procedural suggestions and remove obstacles which may delay project completion Qualifications, Skills and Experience - candidates must have: A degree in Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience and skills Significant experience working on large scale software projects Extensive C/C++ programming experience gained on diverse platforms Extensive Linux/Unix or embedded development experience
