We will again plan the worship service to be an opportunity for families and individuals in our church family to honor God in a variety of ways through the many gifts and talents He has blessed us with. (Songs, skits, readings, instruments, pictures, stories, were just some of the ways we worshiped in earlier years.) What might you share? -Freedom Gate bike ride is cancelled, due to many last minute details and not enough time to plan. -Our next coffee house for a cause will be to assemble school kits. While the date has not yet been set, I wanted to give you advance notice in order to take advantage of the back to school sales. Items needed for school kits are: Spiral Notebooks 70-80 pages, Pencils, Erasers, Rulers, 12 count box Colored pencils. A sign up sheet and Coffee House date will be posted in the next couple of weeks. -Magazines for Colonial Lodge-- Thanks to all who have contributed past issues over the last three years. Recently the rack at the Lodge was reorganized and contributions are now received more selectively. I have therefore removed the collection box from the narthex, but please see me if you can provide something like Ladies' Home Journal or Reminisce. --Mike Brown -Movie Night Date: Aug. 5 (after VBS in the Grove) and Aug. 19. There will be no movie night in July. -Plans are in the works for individuals interested in a new members/baptism class in the near future. Contact Pastor Phil if you have interest in baptism and/or becoming a member of our church or have questions about this. Happy Birthday! Esther Gehman today, Darlene McCosby and Terry Hollinger on Sat.
