ATM NET Transaction Manager

The ATM NET TM gives the possibility to deliver different services to cardholders. ATLANTICS ATM NET supports the following transactions: Fast cash: Cash withdrawal performed by selecting a pre-set amount displayed on ATM screen. Cash withdrawal: If the amount that the cardholder wishes to withdraw is not displayed on the ATM screen, cardholders can specify a desired amount via the cash withdrawal option on screen. ATM NET supports cash withdrawal in multi-currency. Deposit: Service is available on all ATMs that are equipped with deposit mechanism. ATM NET handles three types of deposits: Cash, Cheque and Document. Bill payment: Such as utility, phone and other consumer bill payments supported by ATM NET. To avoid sensitive data entry errors and speedup bill payment, pending invoices can be displayed on the screen to cardholders for payment. Account to Account Transfer: This operation allows the cardholders to transfer funds between cardholders accounts. Balance inquiry: The account balance is displayed on ATM screen. Mini-statement: Prints last ten transactions and followed by account balance. Statement: This service is available on any ATMs equipped with the statement printer. Checkbook request: ATM NET allows cardholders to request printed checkbook. PIN Change: ATM NET supports secure PIN code change at ATM.

Additional Features: ATM NET handles operations such as Card Capturing, Security Key Management and Personal Identification Number (PIN) verifications, and Transaction Logs Maintenance for audit and statistical reporting purpose.

ATM NET Communication and Protocol

ATM NET will process messages defined in the client protocol. The following message types are validated: Cardholders initiated messages, Monitor messages, Configuration messages, Remote management messages. ATM NET supports four major protocols: NDC/ NDC+ DDC APTRA NDC Triton Dialup

ATM NET Screen and State Loader

As any ATMs should be initialized with the required parameters, such as: Identification parameters (ID, Location, Calling address, etc. . .) Configuration parameters (number of cassettes and their denomination, configuration identifier, etc. . .) Accounting Parameters (ATM account, etc. . .) ATLANTICS ATM NET is capable of supporting individual ATM configuration. For example, one ATM offers cash withdrawal service only and the other ATM, on the same network, offers all services available to this network. Here are some of customized functions offered by ATLANTICS ATM NET: Customized ATM state table to define transaction flow: configuration data is downloaded to ATM during configuration phase. Custom screen layout: CRT screen data is driven by ATM NET as part of configuration data and supports multi-lingual GUI interface.

Custom receipt/journal layout: supports customized receipt/journal layout for each type of transactions.

ATM NET Key Management

ATLANTICS ATM NET Key Management processes uses standard and secure key management negotiation. ATM NET Key Management communicates directly to Racal HSM (Host Security Module) and provides advanced and highly reliable platform for DYNAMIC KEY EXCHANGE facility. This guarantees independent ATM NET operation from Transaction Switch.

ATM NET Cash and Cut-off Management

The ATM NET Cash Management supervises the content of the cassettes (number of notes and their denomination) based on counters sent by ATMs within the status messages. These counters are used by the ATM NET monitoring feature to send alerts to system operator in case of cassettes problems (e.g low level, hardware failure). The Cut-off management function allows the bank to have a synchronized financial position between the ATM and the ATM NET. Cut-offs are managed according to the following procedure: Cut-offs are initiated by ATM NET ATM NET computes reconciliation data: amount and number Reconciliation message is sent to ATM for print ATM NET generates reconciliation file

ATM NET Administration

ATM NET Surcharging

ATM NET Surcharging supports Charge Fees for completed transaction. Surcharge is an amount that an acquirer will charge the cardholder for the privilege of using the ATM. The surcharge is always added to the amount that cardholder asks for authorization. ATM NET Surcharge can be configured as a Percentage or Flat Fee and work at ATM group level and/or with specific card range.

ATM NET Alert, Command control, and Monitoring service (ACM)

ATM NET ACM displays real-time ATM status. Messages are color coded for ease of use for the operators to quickly identify and act upon. ATM NET ACM provides ATM devices with real-time statistical information: Transaction Type, Approval and Rejection Totals. ATM NET ACM uses interactive GUI to update ATM service status, load state table, keys, screens, fitness and other configuration data to Individual or Group of ATMs. ATM NET ACM controls terminal administration: checking device failure, re-establishing connection, and downloading configuration data to individual or to a selected ATM Group. ATM NET ACM offers flexibility of grouping ATM units based on functionality, geographical region or any other business logic requirements. Configuration data; ATM state table, operation key, screen, print definition and other configurable parameters allow

customization of the ATM terminal, and can be dynamically downloaded at the individual or group level via administration module located in ATM NET ACM command window or ATM NET ACM Graphical User Interface.
