I am young at 1 year old, and am ready for someone to teach me the rest of Doggie School 101, which I am very eager to learn! I walk well on leash and enjoy going for a walk. Please come meet me and lets see if we can become a family. 2. JINGLES is a Chocolate Lab, 4 years old. Hey, everyone, take a look at me a beautiful chocolate lab who loves people and other dogs! I am an easy going sort of fella who enjoys wagging my tail to let you know how much I enjoy being with people. Ive got a great labbie smile, and I would enjoy sharing it with a new family. I am easy to leash and love going for walks. I also like treats and will immediately respond to the sit command so that I can have a treat. I like being petted, and will stand for as long as someone is willing to pet me. Im waiting at the pound. I really think someone should come see me and take me home to be part of the family. 3. TRIBLE is a Beagle mix, 3 years old. Hi Everyone: My
name is Trible, and I am a happy guy who is quiet, easy to leash, walks well on leash, and enjoys going for a walk. So what do you say? Why dont you come take me for a walk so we can get to know one another! I like both people and other dogs, and I enjoy all pets and loves. I have a calm and gentle manner, and I am looking for a new home. Im waiting at the pound.

dogs that face euthanasia within days unless they are rescued, fostered, or adopted. Transport can be arranged, in most cases, to approved adoptive or foster homes or rescue organizations. Please help us! These are good, healthy, happy, loving dogs that are out of luck and out of time. We urge you to crosspost to e-mail lists and Web groups, forward to friends, send to co-workers, and share with family. We hope our efforts, combined with yours, will save many lives.

4. BARON is a Black Lab mix, 9 years old. Glad to meet all of you out in cyberspace! I am a kindly older dog who is very gentle, calm, and quiet. I am easy to leash and I walk well on leash. I like both people and other dogs. As you can see, I wasnt given the best of care before I came to the pound. I need a good brushing to get rid of the last of the fur I am currently shedding. Im thinking a bath might be nice too. Somewhere along my life journey, I think my left eye might have possibly suffered some sort of injury which was never treated. My eye looks as though it dried up. I am a sweet guy with a charming attitude, and Im really hoping someone will give me a chance to live out the rest of my life in a home. Please come adopt me?!

I am also easy to leash, I walk well on leash, and I enjoy going for walks. I have a smile for everyone and I enjoy being around people. Dog Days of Summer

Time is of the essence for helping the dogs featured in the e-WOOF newsletters. Please contact the name/numbers for each dog before contacting e-WOOF. In most cases, time is limited for the dogs featured in our newsletters--with that in mind, we try to get the word out to as many contacts as we can using this publication. Work on behalf of the animals for finding them homes and/ or rescues comes from many, many sources and is an ONGOING effort dealt with a sense of urgency. In some cases there may be times when a sudden adoption and/or rescue comes through at the exact time our newsletter is issued. This is an unforeseen circumstance on our part--while we certainly understand the crossover may cause frustrations for you as the prospective adopter of an animal we hope you join us in rejoicing for an animal being saved. We appreciate and thank you for your continued support

PLEASE NOTE:

St. Bernards. They both have nice personalities and get along well with everyone they meet. We guess their age to be about a year and a half old. They are current on shots.

Special Needs -- Sheridan, Wyoming Contact: Cel Hope at dogncat@fiberpipe.net 1. BARLEY came to the Shelter as a puppy in March, 2010. He is a very nice-looking twenty-month-old Australian Shepherd/Pointer mix. He loves to go for walks, play with toys, and spend time with all ages of people including children. Barley has a rather unusual condition where the muscles used for chewing atrophy, making the top of his head lose its muscle tone. He has a mild case, which doesnt affect his chewing and will most likely no prevent his living a totally normal life with no future problems. According to our vet, Barley has atrophy of his muscles of mastication (muscles used for chewing). This is most likely due to an autoimmune disease that attacks muscle fibers that are present in only these muscles (masticatory muscle myositis).

These muscles are located on the top of the head and as a result of this disease, they atrophy away. In some cases with this disease, the affected dog is very painful and can get to the point where he is unable to open his mouth or chew. However, this does not occur in many cases. The only sign that Barley exhibits is atrophy of the muscles on top of his head. He has no difficulty opening his mouth or eating. It is likely that he will not have any additional problems. Barley didnt have a very good life before he came to us in fact he was terrified of people and expected abuse for quite a while before he realized he was safe and loved here. He needs some training because he was neglected early in life, but he is very loving, willing to learn and eager to please so will adapt well to a good home. Because of his condition, Barley qualifies for half price adoption fee.

2. CUDDLES is a very high energy twenty-two-month-old

mixed breed -- possibly Pit Bull with Border Collie. She has tons of play drive and will do anything for a toy or treat. She enjoys a fast game of fetch and keep-away. This is a dog that would need to be with someone with a background in dogs and dog training. She can be a very sweet dog and has a lot of potential given the proper training, but will take over and run things her way if the person is not a leader and doesnt demand respect. She seems eager to please people and once you have her full attention and respect, she listens rather well. She would make a great high-energy adventuring companion and must have an active lifestyle. She is not good with other animals and should be the only pet. She should only be around older children due to her active personality. As a long-term resident, Cuddles qualifies for half price adoption fee. ___________________________________________________________________

She is fully vaccinated spayed and microchipped. Hi...Im Pumpkin. I am friendly, active, and do well with cats and dogs! I dont like my ears pulled but, then, who does? I would make a wonderful companion and am excited to begin the rest of my life as a part of your family! ______________________________________________ Paws2Help -- Casper, WY Contact: Lisa at (307) 265-0387 or paws2help@bresnan.net 1. ABBY. This is a very sweet, calm, quiet, and happy girl who enjoys wagging her tail. She is easy to leash and walks well on leash. She had puppies approximately 8 weeks ago, though they are not with her. She makes good eye contact, and always has a smile for everyone. She met 2 men and 2 women and liked all of us. She also met several other dogs and liked all of them. She is estimated to be about 20-22 tall, and her weight is estimated at 55-65 pounds. She enjoys pets and attention, and will accept all someone wants to give her.
Abby has been sponsored by Paws2Help and Popish Veterinary Clinic and has been spayed, given a clean bill of health, fully vaccinated, and even given an oatmeal bath and pedicure!

1. SPARKY and SPRING. These two cuties have been together since they were kitties. Their guardian was killed in an accident, leaving them with nowhere to go. They are very nice, house trained, and have declawed front paws. They are spayed, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. 1. Sparky 2. PEE WEE. Pee Wees mom lost the tips of her ears and half of her tail to frostbite. Pee Wee is the last of her kitties--there were four kitties in the litter. His foster says he is a cutie, very curious, and would make a great pet. Pee Wee is getting vaccinated, and soon will be big enough to neuter. He is probably only 3 months old. Litter box trained and very curious! 3. ROMEO. Poor Romeo was found in a trash can. He is a hoot!
He has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. He is smart, housetrained and loves to play!

1. Spring
REMEMBER: ADOPT-- DONT SHOP! If youre wanting a special friend, please let us know what you are looking for. We will watch the shelters and alert you when we hear of one in need.

4. GRAVY is a setter mix. He made the mistake of thinking chickens were on the dinner plate. He is housetrained and will be 1 year old the end of August. He has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. 5. GYPSY is a 9 month old Great Pyrenese/Akbash mix. The folks
who gave her up did not realize she would be a big lady. She is friendly with other dogs and has more GP traits in her than Akbash. She is up to date on vaccinations and is scheduled for spaying. Gypsy is a BEAUTIFUL dog, very friendly, and deserves a great home. She will need to be trained to work with other animals and would benefit from someone who has experience with this breed.

Most people see a hound and think they are not intelligent but me, I dont fall under that category! I can sit, shake, lay down, and even walk well on a leash! I know Im a big clumsy boy but I have a big heart to match and would really just like to go home and snooze happily on your couch!

I am outgoing and get SUPER excited when it comes to play time, which on occasion gets me in trouble with the younger crowd. What can I say? Chasing things is in my blood! I can, however, behave myself VERY well with a little reinforcement, I do things such as sit, lay down, and walk nicely on a leash. Lookin for a rough and tumble playmate? Then Im your guy, just take me home and see! 3. RENO. Hi, My name is Reno. They call me Reno-Beno here at my temporary home. Im a very sweet boy who worked a little too hard at my last job. I like to be petted and go for long walks on the beach. If you are a good teacher, then you can teach me how to be a better working dog, or I can just be happy being your love bug! Ill be extremely loyal to my new owners whoever they may be. I get scared when I hear loud noises or if you talk loudly to me so Ill need a calm and quiet pad to call home. 4. LULU. PEOPLE! Rusty gets along well with other dogs and seems fine with older children. He is sweet and fairly calm. There is something about the way he studies things that tells me he is a smart guy.
