1. Set upper and lower labyrinth on diaphragm. ()

2.Measure and record inside diameter of labyrinth using inside micrometer. (two place measurement) (2)

1.After install inner casing to balance labyrinth position, lift up the shaft a little. ( )

2. Check no damage on shaft surface and inside of coupling hub with hand touch. ()

3. Repair by whetstone if necessary ()

11.After one hour, measure outer diameter of hub. (1)

1. Measure bearing interference

2. Put Lead wire (Dia=0.36mm L= 40mm) on upper bearing housing. () 3. Install stainless steel liner (Thickness 0.2 to 0.3 mm thickness) (0.20.3)

(2) Measuring of Bearing Clearance.

Fix three lead wires on the shaft equally spaced with grease within the pad width. The diameter of lead wire is 0.36mm and its Length will be a one-fourth of perimeter. one-

Tighten the set screw and adjust to make the clearance between the tip of special Bolt and the bottom of pad to 1.0-2.0mm. 1.0(1.02.0mm) 1.02.0 mm)

Install the bearing cap and tighten it. Firstly fix with knock bolt, then tighten the set bolts. Refer to the relevant page for the tightening. Confirmation of position
