ABILAC (Mexico - Food and beverage company) purchased land to develop a new facility at Aeropuerto Industrial Park. COOPER TIRES (USA - Tire manufacturer) leased 86 SKF at Guadalajara Industrial Park in El Salto, Jalisco. The facility will be used as a distribution center. SANMINA SCI (USA Electronics manufacturing services) reduced 113 KSF of their operations total surface at Jalisco Industrial Park. (Early termination) TAKATA (Japan) closed down their 112 KSF facility located in El Salto Industrial. QAPI (Mexico) Automotive spare parts company associated with Remy Company, (an automotive electrical company), closed their 110 KSF production plant located in Guadalajara Industrial Park, at El Salto Corridor.

JABIL CIRCUIT (USA Electronics Solutions company) expanded their operations during 2008 and the beginning of 2009 to 250 KSF at CPA Guadalajara Technology Park and are now operating with 1,200 employees. LABORATORIOS SOPHIA (Mexico - Pharmaceutical) finished and occupied their new 201 KSF facility the first Quarter of 2009. The building is located at Guadalajara Industrial Park and was developed by CPA. The estimated workforce is 500. AMB PROPERTY CORPORATION (Developer) added 495 KSF of speculative buildings to El Salto, Jalisco Corridor during the first quarter 2009. KIOTO CLEAR ENERGY (Austria - Technology Company focused on renewable energy) leased 33,100 SF at AMB Los Altos Industrial Park during the second quarter 2009. HISPANIC TELESERVICES (USA - Teleperformance Company) leased 113 KSF of flex space at Jalisco Industrial Park. HEINZ (USA - Food Company) with an investment of $12 million and 1,000 jobs generated, Heinz inaugurated their first Infant Nutrition Facility in Mexico.The new 31,200 SF facility is located at Tlaquepaque, Jalisco and will produce baby food.

HUFF (Germany - Automotive) bought 6.17 Acres of land to Alas Group and will occupy the 118 KSF facility located in that parcel. (Coronango, Puebla)

MAQUINADOS AUTOMOTRICES Y TALLERES INDUSTRIALES DE CELAYA (Spain Automotive) is investing U.S. $12.5 million at their 54 KSF facility located at Ciudad Industrial Celaya. MAILHOT INDUSTRIES (Canada - Automotive supplier) with an investment of U.S. $10 million, initiated operations at their new facility located at Santa Fe Industrial Park in Silao.

PROCTER & GAMBLE (USA Care Products) will invest $250 million U.S. dollars in the construction of their new production facility in Irapuato, Guanajuato, which will initiate operations March 2010. The plant will produce Gillette products, and will generate 1,700 direct jobs, and 700 indirect jobs. DAETWILER RUBBER (Switzerland - Auto parts) Leased 54 KSF at Las Colinas Industrial Park in Silao. SIBAPLAST (Mexico - Plastics) leased 43 KSF stand alone building located in Coroneo and will generate 230 jobs. AMERICAN FUJI SEAL (USA Production and distribution of packaging materials) occupied 75,400 SF at Parque Tecno-Industrial Castro del Rio, in Irapuato. HUTCHINSON (France - Auto parts) is investing $37 million U.S. dollars in the construction of their second manufacturing facility in Guanajuato. The facility will occupy 107,600 SF and will be located in Celaya. CPR MEX (Brazil/Italy Plastics) is investing U.S. $29 million at their 108 KSF facility in Celaya with 150 jobs created.

DHL (USA - Logistics) expanded 7 KSF their facility located at Parque Industrial Logistik. VEYANCE TECHNOLOGIES GOODYEAR (Mexico Automotive replacement products) leased 35 KSF at Parque Industrial Tres Naciones. PENSKE LOGISTICA (USA Logistics) expanded 20 KSF their facility located at Parque Industrial Logistik.

TULA, HIDALGO. With an estimated investment of US$12 billion, the Mexican state-owned oil company Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) announced the construction of a new refinery in Tula, Hidalgo, (30 miles north of Mexico City), based on the location/infrastructure and lower logistics costs to distribute refined products. The new mega development is generating increased interest within the real estate developers community.

ABBOTT (USA - Pharmaceutical) opened their new facility in Mexico City. They will manufacture nutritional pharmaceutical products and will generate over 400 direct jobs. KUEHNE & NAGEL (Switzerland - Logistics) leased 118 KSF at ODonnell Cuautitlan Logistics Park. AMB PROPERTY CORPORATION (Developer) announced the completion of speculative building C-2: 269 KSF at AMB Carrizal Industrial Park in Tepotzotlan COCA-COLA FEMSA (Mexico Logistics) inaugurated their new Mega Distribution Center at Chalco, State of Mexico. With an investment of U.S. $20 million. The Distribution center occupies 10 acres of land and a warehouse of 69 KSF. GRUPO O`DONNELL (Developer) initiated the construction of a 225 KSF multi-tenant spec building at ODonnell Intermodal Huehuetoca, a new industrial park located 10 miles north of the main Logistics Corridor, the building is expected to be completed the 3rd Quarter of 2009. SAMSUNG (Korea-Consumer Electronics) will relocate in September to a new 236,655 sf "cross dock" distribution center at CPA Logistics Center - San Martin Obispo.
