Urban Ideology
Tahrir square is a landmark that preserved the identity of the Egyptian Public for the last fifty years , each of the rulers came had an impact on the surroundings of the square each era had its visions and ideologies that behaved and lived by , the square is a witness on the Modern Egyptian History , Eventually the public finds the square as the location where its voice could be heard and where its actions could be effective , But should the public have the idea that only the circular space that lies between the square is the only part they own from the context .

The Public uses the surrounding buildings everyday with a capacity that reaches 21,000 users per-day in addition that the square is in the Centre of the downtown vehicular and pedestrian circulations which makes it a legible space for most of the citizens but is it enough for the buildings to stand on their introverted functions each acts as an island separated from the other although they all exist on the same context, Our main objective as urbanists is to emphasis the role of historical collaborations (Eras Vision Collaborations) the idea is to demolish minor conflicts between different directions and Ethnic Groups and political parties and to relinquish the hopes of our enemies in splitting our unity , therefore our vision is to create a relation between the governors and the governed which is the public a relation of trust and collaboration that depends on the government reaching out to its public and the public reaching out to its government .

Reach-out is a concept used To increase connectivity and Collaborations between certain Domains , For Urabanists and Architects the Term is used in creating a strong relation between the existing Precious element with the building or the city , through different concepts and a diversity of ideologies Architects responded to the precious elements that existed on site.

Magnitude of the Existing buildings in Tahrir square offers a great deal of reaching out to the Public through functional expansion, The Ritz Hotel is considered the most introverted building although it has a great Entrance plaza, Therefore We recommended to put down western office building and exposing the plaza to the rest of the space, The objective of reaching out to the space users would me achieved if a frontier space of each building carried out Functions that relate to the building type and that would offer something to the set building users , eventually The intermediate zone would be a collaboration of diverse functions .

Connectivity is an essential approach to achieve Collaboration , The square Represents the Collaboration between different civic fabrics, the idea is to respond to the spirit of unity day by day , this wont be achieved if we just created new expansion of activities from each building without connecting them in a harmony that contributes to the very spirit of unity.

Omar Makrams Plaza Which will Hold an Educative Cultural Activity which is the Azhar Ancient Method of Education (Sheikh El Amood) which means that the Sheikh Stands beside a Column and the students are gathered around him to listen to the Knowledge He is teaching them , The existing approach will be different as we will use Shading Trees instead of Columns and a 4 stepped square podium that decreases than zero level to centralize the tree where the Sheikh can stand beside , though therefore we achieve comfort and Reach out. Mogammaa El Tahrir Plaza Which will Contain Extensional Co. Governmental Functions to Further Simplify The Paper Work Processes on the Citizens in addition that it will be Tent Covered with seating areas for the public around a water element .

The Space will be designed to over look the central plaza and reaches out to it through pathways of hardscape along with seating areas in between , the booths are different and yet similar , the design with be linear to create a common base between all parties which is the prosperity of the Egyptian Nation and yet they will be different in dimensions and volumes . The booths will allow the public to contributes in Arabs foundations , in addition that it will vitalize the political awareness of the Egyptian Public and it will offer a sense of Education to the illiterate.

Outdoor Landscape will and important approach to achieve Comfort for users to use the spaces hence achieving Collaboration , the podiums will be filled with shading trees that offers shade for users , the podiums exist infront of each building , the Egyptian Museum podium will contain Casia Nidosa Trees only to maintain one blooming color which is light pink , the Ritz Hotel Podium will have the Tecoma stans Yellowish trees mixed with Ficus benjamina , as for Omar Makrams Plaza which requires a lot of shade for the Students Education that will take place in small 5*5 meters plazas stepped down with a Royal ponessiyana Red trees to offer until 8 meters of shade For the students and Their Sheikh(Teacher) , Mogamaa El tahrir Plaza will be filled with date palms and seating under them.
The main spine between Our site and the Square center is highly emphasized by Formal Royal Palms that offer direction to users, The spine will be the intermediate link between what happened in 25th of January Revolution and our project which responds to That , a new spirit would be employed defining the ideologies of the Egyptian Youth and the Collaboration of Diverse Civic Fabrics

Egyptian Museum landscape will be Monumental in a sense of celebration , staggering Caprissius trees next to stairs and ramps to offer an outdoor Entrance for the Museum Reaching to the podium were the Casia Nidosa Trees start clustering to form shade and pathways to the Museum , the blooming color is pink which harmonize with the faade of the Museum Color
