NTU ARC Committee Positions and Job Scopes (General Reference)

Dear All, With reference to a list passed down to me by the previous management committee, I have provided a general description of the committee positions which are open for elections. It covers the purpose of the position, the job scope and possible traits that will help you in the job. Please note that the descriptions are not exhaustive these are just meant to give you a general idea of what that position is about. Committee members may be temporarily tasked to assist the others when necessary, and there may be additional tasks during our events. We will make sure that no one is overworked, of course. As a side-note, all committee positions mentioned below, except for Liaison, will be supported by one or two sub-committee members, which will be selected through interview after the AGM. On another side-note, all committee positions mentioned below are awarded 5 points under the HAS (hall) scheme (as our club is currently a Tier 3 club), and all sub-committee positions will be awarded 3 points. Honestly, it will not be much, but I will prefer you to know this before you decide to go for the job. However, there is a hall scheme under OAS which may allow us to recommend committee members who do not have a hall when they are appointed. (This is different from the scheme meant for our athletes.) Although I have yet to ascertain the likelihood of getting a hall place under this scheme, it is still a possibility. After all, there is no easy guaranteed way to get a hall place in NTU. That is all I have to say for now. Please proceed to the next page for the descriptions, and feel free to contact me if you have any other enquires. I hope to have you join us as part of the next committee. Thank you.

Best Regards, Mao Xin
