For a given engine displacement, a two-stroke is lighter, smaller, produces more power, and has fewer moving parts. This makes it less expensive to manufacture especially since the motors can be fitted to smaller, lighter chassis more reliable, and easier to maintain than a four-stroke.

Active Radical Combustion

AR combustion occurs without a spark from the ignition system. A trapping valve mounted in the exhaust port by changing the effective power stroke raises the compression ratio. The high pressure and resultant temperature causes the molecules of fuel to move so quickly that they merge with the oxygen molecules forming a chain reaction and combustion. Once combustion occurs, the trapping valve uncovers the exhaust port enabling the burnt gasses to flow out the exhaust pipe.
