Q If I fill in the application form to sell online with Birch & Little.com, am I obligated to join? A Not at all; completing the form gives us the chance to hear more about your business appropriate information about working with us. Q Can you tell me what the membership cost is to become a Partner? A We offer a range of membership packages. As we review each application individually and match a package most appropriate to your business, we are unable to give out further details without a successful application. Please fill in the application form and we will be in touch. Q Do I have to pay an annual membership renewal fee or listing fees? A Yes, we offer 1 year & 2 year subscriptions to sell with us, and no charges to list products. We will offer our B+L Partners - Social Commercial Marketing via our Website, Blog, Twitter, Facebook and online publication. There will be a further option of advertising on our Blog & Magazine for those who wish to feature products. Q How much commission will Birch + Little require? A We will take 15% for the first quarter then up to 20%. Q Must I register post all products mailed? A To avoid fraud we deem it essential that buyers sign for items delivered. So to reduce the risk of complaint that a product has not been received is minimized. Q Can you review my application without photographs of my products? A No, it is essential that you provide images of the products you would like to sell, either by giving us a website address where your photographs can be found- this can be a link to an online photo sharing application such as Photobucket / Flickr (other applications are available). Q Do I need professional images of my products to be accepted? A No. Please bear in mind, however, that we find- clear, well-lit photography maximizes sales for our Partners. In our experience, images of products on mannequins or with black backgrounds do not work as well. See our brochure for ideas. Q What do you mean by lifestyle photography? A B+L have found that items shown in the surroundings in which a customer might make use of them can make a positive difference to sales. For illustration, if you are selling an item of clothing, photograph the item on a person rather than on a mannequin; if you are selling a print, photograph it hanging on a wall framed etc.

Q What if I have applied before? A If you have new products or updated photography, please do get back in touch with us. Q I am not a Oceania based business, can I still join? A Not currently. However, we are a growing company and this may be something we can offer in the future, so please do check back with us. Q Why have I not heard from you in response to my application? A There could be several reasons for this: - Have you applied to sell with us by filling in an online application form? - Have we received images of your products either through your website, a photo sharing - Website or as attachments to the email you will have received on application? - Has it been over two weeks since you sent us your product photography? - Have you ensured that your email spam and junk filters recognise BirchandLittle.com as a safe contact so you can receive our email response? The terms and conditions apply to all users of this website and to all purchasers of goods (buyers) listed on the Birch + Little website (B+L, our or us) by other Birch + Little Partners (sellers). Buying and Selling on BirchandLittle.com The following guidelines and conditions apply for listing items for sale on Birch + Little Birch + Little aim is to provide a service to Partners within the Oceania region. Partners are asked to apply to sell selected items on the Birch + Little website. Birch + Little require an image of each item we select to use (see conditions of submission on our brochure) and a detailed description of the item which we will load onto the website. Items must be independent and unique in nature. Birch + Little reserves the right not to select any item that is deemed to be unsuitable for sale on the Birch + Little website. Our Partner must be legally entitled to sell the item listed for sale on Birch + Little (i.e. the owner of the product). The Item which is listed must be available for sale. If an item has run out it is the Partners responsibility to contact Birch + Little to remove it till stocks are available again. The decision to remove any item is final. Responsibilities of the Partner: The Partner/seller must ensure that the item listed for sale is not in breach of the rules listed above. The Partner/seller must ensure that the item listed for sale is available for purchase by a buyer. The Partner/seller must ensure that the item is described correctly and in the specified condition. When a buyer purchases an item the seller is responsible for ensuring that the buyer has the relevant information to make payment for the item. When an item is sold the Seller will be notified by Disclaimer We are not responsible to you or anybody else for any loss incurred in relation to your use of this website. Your use of this site is at your own risk.

The Item is required to be shipped off in accordance to the Partners shipping schedule. Once confirmation has been made that registered shipping has been made. Payment will be made into the Partners account. Payment will be on the 2nd Friday of each month or the 4th Friday of each month. The seller is responsible for shipping the item to the buyer within an agreed time frame (as a guideline within 5 working days). Items on Birch + Little will be listed as Free Shipping. Each Partner must add the shipping cost into each item. The shipping method is registered post or courier. Responsibilities of the buyer When clicking on the buy or bid button of any item the buyer is entering into an agreement with the seller to purchase that item. Failure to follow through with payment for an item may result in the buyer being banned from Birch + Little. When a successful purchase has been made the buyer Birch & Little will send a confirmation email that payment has been made. The buyer is responsible for ensuring their shipping address is specified correctly when making a purchase on Birch + Little We reserve the right to ban any user that we determine to be in breach of any of these conditions or to be using Birch + Little in any unsuitable manner We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time.
