Choosing an 100% oil-free compressed air system

Why a 100% oil-free compressed air system?
It is impossible to imagine present day production process sequences without compressed air. As modern day industries are increasingly imposing ever high quality demands, it is not just a matter of producing a certain quantity of compressed air but also of conforming it with a defined purity criteria. Oil present in the compressed air mixes with the compressor condensate and other dirt to form an unwanted abrasive sludge. This abrasive sludge, often acidic in nature, rapidly wears pneumatic machinery, valves etc. causing frequent maintenance break-downs and costly air leaks. It corrodes piping systems and can bring your production process to an extremely expensive standstill. That is the reason why most of the applications demand nearly 100% oil free air, as can be seen in the chart. In an oil-free compressor the problem of oil is eliminated. Oil removal filteration system, as required in oil-flooded compressors results in system pressure drop hence energy loss. It also needs recurring costly replacements of filteration elements. And you are still not very sure about the filteration efficiency.
