Date: July 24, 2010 To be able to successfully implement our political aims and objectives, declared in 1990 general elections by Arakan League for Democracy, the third biggest political party in terms of members elected during the 1990 election and had been illegally dissolved for the objection to sign Law and Order 1/90, issued by the then State Law and Order Restoration Council (SLORC) and some of prominent leaders including Dr. Saw Mra Aung and U Aye Tha Aung had been arrested and sentenced for long term imprisonment, and some of party leaders and two dozen of party members had fled to neighboring countries such as Bangladesh, India and Thailand to continue our Arakanese politics for self determination and equal rights since 1993 & 1994 under the name of ALD (Exile). ALD (Exile-Japan) was founded on 16-11-03 and was reformed on 17-7-05 as part of the international network of ALD (Exile) along with other overseas network of offices and branches of Thailand, Malaysia, EU, Australia, USA, India and Bangladesh. Taking initiatives of the aims and objectives, party conferences were held annually and the 6th party conference had been held on 24-7-2010 in order to lay down plans how to continue our politic and new strategies against military dictatorship and their backed so called civilian government. We also accept the unity among our Arakanese believe Factionalism and Self-centric individualism are the core obstacles along our way to national unity, and Institutional loyalty is more important rather than Individual loyalty. is the most important and learn it is based on needs to understand mutual respect and to follow democratic principles among ourselves. We
