1. Educational Qualification:
Sr. No. 1: Post Steno-II (English): Essential Qualification - Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board with 100/ 40 w.p.m. in English shorthand and English typing respectively. Desirable: Bachelors Degree in any discipline, working experience as Stenographer in any reputed organization and use of personal computer/ word processing/ data entry. Sr. No. 2: Post Steno-II (Hindi): Essential Qualification -Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board with 80/25 w.p.m. speed in Hindi stenography and Hindi typing respectively. Desirable: Bachelors Degree in any discipline, working experience as Stenographer in any reputed organization and use of personal computer/ word processing/ data entry. Sr. No. 3: Post Lower Division Clerk: Essential Qualification - 12th pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word). Desirable: Bachelors Degree in any discipline, working experience in use of computer application Sr. No. 4: Post Multi Tasking Staff: Essential Qualification - Matriculation or its equivalent from recognized Board or Pass ITI. Desirable: Knowledge of office work.

Between 18 years to 27 years of age for Sr. No. 1 to 3 posts, Between 18 years to 25 years of age for Sr. No. 4 post as on the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates. Age will be determined as on last date of receipt of application i.e. 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement (20.08.2011). Relaxation: SC/ST OBC PH Ex-Serviceman Govt. possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.

is large and it will not be convenient or possible for the KVIC to consider all the candidates, the KVIC at their discretion may restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit by any one or more of the following method:
i) On the basis of either qualification higher than the minimum prescribed in the
advertisement. ii) On the basis of the experience in the relevant field.
5. GENERAL CONDITIONS: A. Candidates already employed in Government / Public Sector Undertakings are required
to forward their application through proper channel. Further, they should produce No Objection Certificate from their employer, at the time of the interview.
D. Candidates are required to paste one recent passport size photograph in the space
provided for in the application format and sign it across. They are advised to retain two copies of the same photograph for use at the time of Screening Test / Interview. Failure to produce the same photograph at that time will lead to disqualification of the candidates. E. KVIC shall not be responsible for an application being rejected which is based on wrong information provided and / or in any advertisement issued by an unauthorized person / institution.
F. If called Candidates have to appear for the Screening Test/Interview at their own cost.
However, unemployed SC/ST candidates who are called for screen test / interview will be reimbursed II Class Rail / Bus fare, as per the rules on production of original railway/Govt. Bus ticket.
G. Selected candidates will be covered by the terms and conditions of the service regulations
under KVIC.
H. The selected candidates will be covered under New Pension Scheme introduced by the
Government of India w.e.f. 01.01.2004. I. Before applying for the post, candidates should ensure that they satisfy the eligibility norms in all respects as mentioned in this advertisement, as on the dates specified. The KVIC shall be free to reject any candidature at any stage of the recruitment process, if he / she is found to be ineligible for the post for which he / she has applied.
J. The decision of the KVIC in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidates, conducting
Screening Test, Interview, Selection and appointment of candidates etc. would be final and binding on the candidates. No correspondence would be entertained by the KVIC in this behalf.
K. In case any candidate desires to institute any legal proceedings against the KVIC in
respect of anything done or proposed to be done by the KVIC in relation to him or her, such legal proceedings shall be instituted only in the courts in Mumbai Jurisdiction and not in other Courts. L. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. M. The candidate should send only one application in an envelope. N. Candidates staying in Maharashtra are only eligible to apply. O. Though the posts mentioned above are meant for Central Office, Mumbai. However, in the interest of Commission work the selected candidates may be posted to work any where in India
P. Candidate's invitation for the personal interview is strictly provisional. The mere fact that
the call letter has been issued to the candidate does not imply that his candidature has been finally cleared by the KVIC.
Q. Candidates in their own interest are advised to submit their applications well in time before
the last date to avoid possible delay in postal transit. Applications received after the last date shall be rejected. The KVIC takes no responsibility for any delay in receipt or lost in Postal transit of any application or communication.
R. In addition to the number of posts mentioned, a panel on the basis of merit list will be
