Deacon of the Week: Joe Ferris

434.352.7734

Many times we are asked, Who is my deacon? To help you, we will list the Deacon of the Week and his list of families in the WLBC Bulletin ENewsletter. There will be a complete list posted on the bulletin board near the church office. This complete list is alphabetical by your last name. We hope this will help you know who your deacon is for the year. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the church office.

Bearly Christian A man went on a nature walk. A bear began to chase him, so he climbed a tree. As he was climbing he slipped down into the bear's arms. He prayed, "Lord let this be a Christian bear." The bear said, "Lord, thank you for this food."

Note to Members: We are in process of collecting items for many mission projects and are setting up for Vacation Bible School in many of the rooms, so please do not bring yard sale items to the church for storage at this time. Thank you so much for your enthusiasm and participation in donating items when we do ask for them.
