EE 2155 Electrical Circuit Laboratory (Common to EEE, EIE & ICE) SET II 1.

Practically verify the Kirchoff s laws for the network shown in Figure with the theoretical calculation.

2. Find the current through the load resistance both theoretically and practically for the given circuit using Thevenin s and Norton s Theorem.

3. Compute the current through AB of the network shown in Figure using superposition theorem. Verify the same practically . 4. Find the load resistance RL for the maximum power transfer in the circuit shown in Figure. Also find maximum power. Verify the above values practically.

5. Verify reciprocity theorem for the circuit shown in Figure.

6(a). For the network given below verify whether the response is directly proportional to excitation, when the source voltage is maintained at 25 V. Also plot the voltage versus current characteristics. (50 Marks)

(b). Measure the self inductance of the given coil. (50 Marks)

7. Obtain the mesh currents and node voltages for the circuit shown in Figure. Verify the results practically.

8(a). Obtain the transient current (both charging & discharging) for the circuit shown in Figure. Also plot the transient characteristics. (50 Marks)

(b). Obtain the transient voltage (both charging & discharging) for the circuit shown in Fig. Also plot the transient characteristics.

9. Design suitable values for L & C for series & parallel RLC circuit. Let Resistance and Resonance frequency are 330 and 410 Hz respectively. Also plot the frequency response characteristics.

10. Obtain the frequency response of single tuned circuit shown in Figure. And plot the frequency response characteristic.

2(a). Find the open circuit voltage and the Thevenin s resistance for the circuit and verify the values practically. (50 Marks)

(b). Find the short circuit current and Thevenin s resistance for the circuit and verify the experimental result with the theoretical values. (50 Marks)

3. Use superposition theorem to find the current in 470 ohm resistor connected between A & B in the circuit shown below.

4. In the circuit shown in the figure, R absorbs maximum power. Compute the value of R and maximum power.

5. For the circuit shown in the figure below, find I3 and verify reciprocity theorem.

(b). For the circuit given below, plot the variation of voltage across the capacitor with respect to time. (50 Marks)

9(a). Find the resonant frequency for the circuit and plot the graph. (50 Marks) (b). Design a parallel resonance circuit for the resonant frequency of 400Hz. (50 Marks) 500 F 3 10. Obtain the frequency response of the given circuit.
