He was extremely fond of YMCA KL and many times would tell of his involvement with the YMCA to his beloved family. An engineer by profession; he was a Board Member and was President in the year 1979 before he relocated to Houston, Texas USA. His mission characterized his leadership that the YMCAs trust should be Christ centered. Activities in the YMCA today should be Christ-centered, with Jesus Christ as the spiritual force and with Jesus Christ as the basis of social responsibility.

25th Feb 2011, Lee Kong Chan Hall, YMCA KL: YMCA Youth held a Dona ng blood saves lives. 5h blood donation campaign to boost the National Blood Banks supply as t boost well as to foster a sense of social responsibility among the members, staff and the public. Many may not be aware that red blood cells can a o that only last 42 days outside of your body and many hospitals are always in a e your YMCA KL Sta dona ng blood for a need of blood supply. good cause. There were many who turned up for the event, but r p for only a total of 47 pints of 7 blood were successfully successfully c donated. YMCA KL Youth would like to thank everyone for their gracious presence in support of the Blood gracious w would y e f the Drive. Better Spoken English With Phonetics Course is aimed at developing your competence in English Phonetic symbols so you can pronounce unfamiliar words accurately with some help from the dictionary. The study comprises of lectures, written assignments and visual aids. By the end of the course, students will be able to speak confidently under any circumstances. This course is suitable for both students and adults. The Senior Citizens Club is open to all YMCA members 55 years and above. Entrance fee is RM10.00 and yearly subscription is RM 20.00. Membership expires on 31st December each year. The club meets every Wednesday and Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm at Dewan Lee Kong Chian in YMCA KL for exercise, dancing and fellowship.

REMINDER TO ALL SCC MEMBERS

Kindly be reminded to renew your SCC Membership before 28 February 2012. Members who do not renew their membership will not be entitled to enjoy the SCC Club activities. Members are reminded to wear their SCC Membership Tags during gathering or be subjected to a fine of RM 5.00. Non-members are not allowed to join the activities, but if an SCC Member wish to bring a guest, they must sign-in their guest properly and pay the appropriate Guest Fee.
