Introduction: Thesis Statement: Nowadays more people have been moving from the city to the country side and vice versa. It is caused specially by economical reasons. Even though in both places there are jobs opportunities, the salary paid can vary in a wide range.

As it is evident, the reasons by which a person moves from one to other place are usually economical reasons. However, to take a decision should be considered carefully, and taking into consideration the different options of jobs and salaries.

Country Life or City Life?

I remember when my Uncle Juan decided to leave his life in the countryside for living in the city. His work as a farmer had become worst the last 2 years, so he took that decision in order to support economically his family. At first it was hard for him to find a job, all his knowledge was related with agriculture, but finally he found it. He overcame his financial situation and now his wife and children are established in the city, too. To decide whether live in the city or the countryside depends most of the time on the economical situation. Both in the city and the country there are job opportunities, however the profits of thoses jobs can vary.

It is a fact that in the city and the country there are some labors that must be made for the development of the community. Both zones need mechanics for fixing cars, teachers for teaching in schools, government workers for attending local problems, police officers for veiling the security, nurses and doctors for attending patients, and

other important tasks. In addition, in both locations can be found businesses which give services: Gas stations, grocery stores, supermarkets, are some of them. All of these mean that while exists the necessity of services there will be job opportunities in those locations.

However, the economical situation is not exactly the same in the city and country. It is a reality that a person wins more in the city than the country for the same job. In the city there is more labor demand, thats why the salaries are better paid. Unlike the city, in the countryside there is not enough labor demand. So, the salary of a person who has knowledge in a specific area will be 25% lesser in the country than the city. While the city is growing more every day, the country growth has fallen lately. The inequality of salaries is the main reason of this immigration. While the country does not overcome this situation, the city will get the benefits.

As it was shown, there are products and services that must to be consumed for surviving, and for offering those services it is needed workers. However, city life offers better economical opportunities than country life. Thats why to live in the city or the country should be considered carefully, and taking into consideration the different options of jobs and salaries.
