EXECUTIVE SUMMERY

EXECUTIVE SUMMERY: The purpose of training to expose the students of management to the real business situation to provide insights into various function carried out within organization. Iam fortunate enough to get the opportunity of summer training at Chanakya. The objective of this project is to study the level of job satisfaction among the employees towards their organization .in order to achieve this objective, I have taken a samples of 50 respondents from Chanakya and collected through a questionnaire and interviews. The major finding from the project is followed; 1 employee are not satisfied with their work conditions. 2 employees are not satisfied with their salary.

(A) It is said that satisfaction employees is a productive employees, any kind of grievance relating to the organizational or personal to a greater extent influence on job. So every organization is giving higher priority to keep their employees with satisfaction by providing several factors when improve satisfaction and which reduce dissatisfaction.

of villages where it covers nearly 70% it total area .in this relation we can say that India economy is based on rural activities and their development. There for we have to give prime importance to the rural activities. A Dairy is a place for handling milk & milk products .Technology is refers to the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes. Dairy technology has been defined as that branch of dairy science .which deals with the processing of milk & milk products on an industrial.11 Scale .In developed dairying countries such as USA the year 1850 is seen as the dividing line between farm & factory scale production. Various factories distribute to this change in these countries such as the concentration of the population in cities where the jobs are plentiful rapid industrialization, improvement of transformation facilities development of machines etc.

ORGANING DAIRYING OF INDIA- Around 1500 BC t0 2000 BCto. .Aryans were first to
domesticate cattle use them for tilling their land obtain milk to be consumed as food. Again it was Aryans who priced the milk of a cow than its meat forbade its slanghter,created legends about it and even worshipped it. Hindus even this day consider cow as sacred. Besides it were only the East India which domesticated buffalo as milk animal succeeded so well that today, more than half the total production of milk in India is obtained from buffaloes. Most of the farmers have one milk animal; they sell the milk through local milk contractors or middlemen.These. traders have always exploited the poor & uneducated milk producers .it was in the late forties, when integrated technology in 1956 with the establishment approach for dairy development based on farmers owned co-operative was first adopted at Anand . The system includes milk procurement productions and marketing through farmers co-operative. In India the market milk technology may be considered to have commenced in 1950 with the functioning of the central dairy of Aryan milk colony and milk product of Ammul DAIRY Aanad .the system of collective ownership, operation and control of mil trade by. farmer came to be known as Anand. P pattern .Anand pattern has given them opportunity to have accept to the modern technology.

The premises institution NDDB and IDC For application of the Anand pattern throughout the country. The whole project under which replication was envisioned is named as Operation Flood . The success of Anand pattern depends as establishing a strong co-operative infrastructure at the grass root level .making economically viable to strengthen, Dairy industry offers employment opportunities to the people so as to help the farmers to get fair price of milk. The farmers are provided with medical facilities to their cattle milk is becoming an alternative life line in our rural economy .page no 9 Export of dairy products plays an important role in our foreign trade .it increase the foreign exchange & national income of our country & also economic development .

Chanakya dairy products ltd (CDPL) is a brainchild of Sh.Vinod Kumar dutt a.renowned well qualified personality of khanna (PB) He is a product of NIT, Kurukshetra from where he did Mechanical Engineering in 1978 and thereafter MBA from KURUKSHETRA .After successful operation of milk plant , named HYGIENIC FOODS at khanna for about 10 years with a capacity of 100000 Ltr /day , the chanakya dairy products ltd .was set up in 2005 at Mandi Gobindgarh (PB) WITH A HANDLING CAPACITY OF 250000 Ltr of milk per day

The chanakya dairy products ltd has set up an integrated processing plant A Mega Project Mandi Gobindgarh (PB) in financial collaboration with Punjab.page21 Agro Industries Corporation Ltd ( A Punjab Govt. Undertaking ) at a cost of 38.00 cores with a handling capacity of 2.50 laces liters of milk /day.

COMPANY-POLICY
The sole aim of the company has been to manufacture quality milk products by maintaining standards of hygiene and to market them through its experienced sales force and well established marketing channels developed over a period of 16 years. The company also aims to set up an organic farm and a dairy farm clubbed with a processing unit to grow crops /fodder by organic cultivation & to improve the breed of milch animals and also to process/supply the organic milk in cities

(C) PRODUCT-RANGE

The company manufactures and markets the brand name of HF SUPPER the 5-varieties of liquid milk in pouches ,Desi Ghee Milk Powder ,Table Butter,Paneer,Curd, Lassi etc.while other value products like , Flavored Milk ,Milk Cake , Pinni , Panjeeri and ice cream are manufactured & marketed by HYGIENIC FOODS under the same brand name..

(E) HOW TO PROCURE MILKAbout 700 village s level centers (VLCs) are operating in the region 80 milk routes are plied in different directions. 8 milk chilling centers (MCCs) have been established in far-flung areas of Punjab. Milk producers are educated about proper up keep of milch-animals and to maintain hygienic conditions to ensure freshness & purity of milk. Raw milk is tested both at VLC/MCC and main milk plant as per prescribed quality norms

-A highly sophisticated quality control laboratory with micro testing facilities is available in the plant. - BIS certification for ISI marketing of milk powder is available. -Unit is approved by export inspection council ( EIC) for Q milk certification of exporting. -Repeated job orders of MNCs like Glaxo Smithkline consumer Health care Ltd ( Horlicks) and nestle India for supply & packing of skimmed milk powder and condensed milk are executed successfully

MARKETING-A net work of 50 dealers and 1000 retailers are engaged to market HF SUPER products, including 1.50 lacs liquid milk pouches daily. - HF SUPER brand milk is a name in each house of different. cities /towns of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Chandigarh and part of Haryana ,where daily supply at sunrise is ensured through 30 carriers moving in different directions

-our desi ghee also has an export market in DUBAI, UAE


and BANGLADESH. -Turnover of Rs.70 crore in 2008-09 increased to Rs.100 crore in 2009-10 and the same may swell to 125 crore in 2010-11.

(O) ROLE OF THE DAIRY IN CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY- the dairy co-operatives are organized
in rural areas for the milk producers keeping in view the domestic principles and values. These societies educate, guide support the milk production.

(p) FUNCTIONS OF DAIRYTo dairy co-operative functions all through the year in two shifts, this will provide continues market for the surplus milk produced and the payment for the milk

Apart from this, the union also produce desi ghee ,butter ,flavored milk ,curd, paneer,lassi etc, The excess fat in the milk will be separated in the form of cream and issued for butter making .the cream breaks into butter & butter milk

where butter is issued for ghee making and butter milk is tested for fat COB (clout on boiling) and it will be reproduced or will be drained out

POCUREMENT DEPARTMENT
The milk co-operative societies will be organized in villages where there is excess milk production. The extension staff of the union will visit the villages and conducts the survey about the village population animal population & availability of the surplus milk then report to the office for consideration organize the societies. Then the first meeting will be conducted and select the promotion to promote the dairy cooperative in the village and with the permission of registrar of cooperative with the recommendation of milk union. The village chief promoter will permitted to collect the share capital and with all fulfillment of required norms then proposal will be sent to registrar of co-operative department for registration milk co-operative society will be commissioned and start procuring milk from the producer .the milk procured will be transported through the trucks to nearby chilling centers & dairy where milk is produced further. The village dairy cooperative will receives payments for the milk supplied to union .once in a weak and the same will be obtained among its produce members every weak and day is fixed which is convenient to the concerned village

Also all these data is given to the MIS department & integration on monthly basis is taken up and the report as sent to the managing director & same place before the monthly meetings helped of all the union.

These chilling centre test the milk of each village by using .Acid alcohol test & estimate the presence of fat & SNF (solid not fat) to distribute prices to the societies .then the tested milk from every village is stored in milk. in case they receive any COB milk then there take out the butter from the milk & send butter for further processing & not the COB milk. The chanakya tankers & transporting vehicles visit twice a day to procure milk from these societies on the basis of FAT & SNF who will in turn pay to its member.
