Please take a moment to pick up your Contributions Statement in the narthex before leaving today. Thanks! The United Methodist Women are collecting school supplies for needy students at Cunningham and Widen Elementary Schools. Lists are posted in the narthex and are also available at most retail stores. Please bring your donations by Sunday, August 14 and place them in the donation box in the Narthex. You may also make a monetary donation to Berkeley UMW designated for school supplies. Thank you! Phyllis Coombes is extending the beginning Tai Chi class to the end of August. The class is free and is held in the Fellowship Hall on Sundays from 4:00 5:00 p.m. Health experts recommend Tai Chi for balance and fall prevention, strength training, arthritis, diabetes and improving circulation. Phyllis is a certified trainer and has been teaching for 5 years. Men and women, church members and members of the community are all welcome. Wear loose clothing and low heeled flexible shoes.
