Welcome to the 2011 edition of the Community Resource Guide for Burnaby and New Westminster. This
year we have substantially increased the size of this very popular publication. New categories have been
created and others expanded as we continue to broaden the range of information about services and resources
available to our communities.

About Burnaby Community Connections
Burnaby Community Connections is a local non-proft society which has been serving our
community since 1971. Our mission is to enhance lives by connecting people to services and
fostering connections in our communities. We help people access community resources and services; create
opportunities for stakeholders to directly help those in need; and facilitate community-based
solutions to address complex social issues. Last year we provided support to people 76,204 times.
