Coordinate a Rosary/Stations of the Cross event during the appropriate season (work with campaign chair). Help take care of assigning readings and offerings during mass on the 1st and 3rd of the month. Help with prayers for the beginning and end of sinhhoat. Coordinate with campaign chair on spiritual bouquet offering on the 1st of the month during mass.
Service Chair Myan Le y Description:Helps with the planning and execution of community service events. y Skills:Must have good people skills. Must be creative to come up with new service events. Must be able to communicate with people involved in the services. Must plan events according to Catholic seasonal caldenar. y Tasks: o Coordinate and plan community service projects. o Create community service events. o Execute the following known service projects: Canned Food Drive (plan with campaign chair), Caroling at a Retirement Home, Soup Kitchen for Nghia Si/Hiep Si, PB&J Sandwiches for the Homeless, and Serving Hot Chocolate and Caroling after Mass during Christmas. o Keep track of doansinhs spirit during these events. o Work with Bulletin Editor to take pictures of these events. o Work with Public Relations Chair to make announcements to the parents and congdoan and to help contact organizations.

Description:Helps huynhtruong with getting messages out to the parents &congdoan. Skills: Must have good communication skills. Must be polite, well spoken, and slightly political. Must be able to speak Vietnamese and English. Tasks: o Must help communicate with parents for volunteering, cooking, and transportation (work with Recruiting Chair). o Must be able to tell parents where they can find information about certain subjects (Refer to huynhtruong about student progress, information about TNTT, or other concerns). o Be able to help clarify misunderstanding parents might have or refer them to a huynhtruong who can help them. o Refer to Huynh Truong for current doan information and events. o Relay concerns to Doan Truong or Nganh Truong (if the concern pertains or a particular nganh).
Recruiting Chair y Description:Helps to recruit parents to volunteer and invite parents and the youth of the parish to TNTT. y Skills:Must have good communication skills. Must learn to be appealing to both parents and the youth. Must have sufficient TNTT knowledge. Must schedule accordingly with parental help. y Tasks: o Must be able to spot kids age 7+. o Must be able to convince kids AND parents to join TNTT. o Help communicate with parents about the benefits of TNTT. o Must be able to ask parents to help volunteer for ThieuNhi activities. o Must be able to keep track of the parents progress with helping. o For those who arent sure what TNTT is, refer them to a knowledgeable huynhtruong. Van Nghe Chair Vivian Le y Description:helps with scheduling, preparing, and tracking entertainment for special events y Skills:Must have knowledge of putting on a good show. Must know the basic materials of performances (costumes, sound system, etc). Must be good at assigning tasks (MC, Choreographers, Acts, etc...). Must be good at getting the word out. Tasks: o Coordinate TNTT Anniversary Celebration.

Compile and list of performance for TNTT Anniversary, Dai Hoi La Vang, TetTrung Thu, Tet, and other events. Assign tasks or keep track of who is taking care of which act. Track the progress of each performance on a weekly basis. Know and compile the schedule for rehearsal. Schedule a dress rehearsal no later than a day before the event. Work with the Recruiting Chair and Public Relations Chair to get help with cooking, costumes, and sound system. Work with Design chair to create props and decorations for the event.
Inventory Chair Andy Tran y Description:Helps keep track of supplies, inventory, and short term budgeting. y Skills:Must be good with keeping track of ThieuNhi general supplies. Must be good at keeping track of re-orders. Must be good with budgeting for supplies. y Tasks: o Keep track of T-shirt, khan, and other supplies. o Keep track or re-order forms or needed supplies. o Keep track of supplies for camping/retreat/socials with Events Chair. o Set a budget for spending for necessary items (PA system, Mirrors for dance practice, Projector, etc).

Communicate with Doi Truong/Doi Pho to get assignments turned in from Doan Sinh. Make sure that Doi Truong/Doi Pho are assigning tasks to their DoiVien as well. Help instill good morals into doansinh using Jesuss teachings and the teachings of the Catholic church (cleaning, humility, thanksgiving, etc).
Paperwork Chair Lynne Truong y Description:Helps ht keep track of forms and paperwork collection. y Skills:Must be organized. Must be able to keep track of events. Must be able to use excel. Must know how to keep track of short-term finances for events. Must be able to prepare documents for sending after huynhtruong write the documents. y Tasks: o Must help Tr. Jackie collect of the registration forms and fees at the beginning of the year. o Keep track of all permission slips and VAP forms for events. o Create an excel chart for who has turned in what. o Help prepare prints, packets, and envelopes when necessary. o Work with Tr. Danny to get approval signatures . Spirit Chair (Cheers/Songs) Ly Le y Description:helps with building doansinh's spirit and faith through Biblicious cheers and songs. y Skills:Must be active. Must be able to appeal to doansinh. Must have sufficient ThieuNhi/Bible knowledge in order to create links to ThieuNhi. Must know 80% of sinhhoat songs. Must be able to create cheers/songs in a short amount of time. Must have a loud voice. y Tasks: o Must be able to work with the Games Spirit Chair, Huynh Truong, and Leadership chair to create or come up with songs. o Must read the Gospel every week to come up with a good cheer or song .to fit the Gospel theme or the seasonal theme of the Catholic Church. o Must be able to come up with cheers or songs on the spot. o Must be able to relate the cheers and songs directly to Jesus or the Bible. o Learn most of the sinhhoat songs and CaChinhThuc. o Look up worship songs and cheers online to teach to the students. o Know BOTH English and Vietnamese songs. Spirit Chair (Games) Calvin Kleber

Description:Helps with building doansinh's spirit and faith through Biblicious activities and games. Skills:Must be active. Must be able to appeak to doansinh. Must have sufficient ThieuNhi/Bible knowledge in order to create games that relate to ThieuNhi. Must be able to come up with cheers/songs to pump up spirit before the game. Must be able to create/come up with games in a short amount of time. Must have a loud voice. Tasks: o Must be able to come up with games that pertain to the Gospel story that week or the current seasonal theme. o Must work with the Cheers/Songs Spirit Chair, Huynh Truong, and Leadership Chair to create relating games. o Must be able to come up with creative games on the spot. o Must supply materials for games every week. o Must read the Gospel in advance to come up with the activity or game (Ex. Puppet Play, Jeopardy, Active Games, Sports, etc). o Must be able to explain how the activity or game pertains to God (what is the moral of the game?). o Must also be able to come up with cheers pertaining to Jesus or the Bible (Ex. We Love Jesus, Yes we Do. We Love Jesus, How About You?).
Teaching Chair Vanvan Nguyen y Description:Helps other hiepsi by refreshing them on basic knowledge skills. y Skills:Must have sufficient ThieuNhi/Bible knowledge. Must be a good people person. Must learn and create fun activities to share with other people teaching. y Tasks: o Must know a basic ThieuNhi/Bible knowledge and terms. o Be able to help other Hiep Si come up with lesson plan ideas. o Look up fun activities on Christian learning websites. o Help instill good morals into doansinh (work with leadership chair). o Help create lesson goals for fellow Hiep Si. o Keep track of learning progress of doansinh and the teaching progress of Hiep Si. Technology Chair Lynda Pham y Description:Helps update social media/network and assists with technological mechanisms. y Skills:Must have good technological skills. Must be able to use a computer, projector, sound system, and other electronic devices. Must know how to use basic Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Photoshop. Must be creative when creating computerized lessons.
Tasks: o Be able to create Powerpoint presentations for background and scenery for shows or for spiritual bonding and praise. o Be able to fix broken gadgets. o Must be able to help transfer images onto the computer using Photoshop. o Must be able to help create designs and logos (work with design chair). o Help update the website, gallery, and social networking by getting people to check back often. o Must create flyers for events. o Must be able to help other Hiep Si transfer their lesson plans onto the computer if necessary. o Must be able to work a sound system or learn how to.
