Happy Civic Long Weekend! We are so glad that you decided to spend it here with us at Happy Hills Resort! In return, we have got you covered with more than enough activities to keep the whole family entertained right through until Monday! The weekend swings into full gear early Friday night with our Happy Hills Outdoor Cinema. Then as Saturday rolls around, Park Lane will be taken over by tables full of all sorts of goodies and treasures at the Annual Flee Market. Saturday night is the Adult Dance which will feature the band Movin', Grovin' & Verhoeven! The Fun continues on to Sunday with the Adult Horseshoe tournament and Family Bingo. Last, but certainly not least, there is the ever entertaining Staff vs. Campers Horseshoes on Monday morning. Young or old, we've got something for you, so read your bulletin carefully as to not miss a thing! Adults hoping to win the Char- Broil Commercial Series BBQ can purchase tickets for $2.00 each from the store or any Dance Committee member. The draw for the BBQ will take place at the Adult Dance. With beautifully sunny weather, we had another successful Penny Carnival Weekend! We would like to send a very big thank-you to Cathy Breen and the Penny Carnival Committee who ensured that each and every event ran smoothly! If you are walking your dog throughout the park or have a dog outdoors on your site, it must be on a leash at all times! You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet at all times- please remember that letting your dog run loose is strictly prohibited. Remember to drink responsibly this weekend. All alcoholic beverages are to be consumed on you campsite ONLY. This means alcohol is strictly prohibited in the store, on your golf cart, in the pool area, on the Happy Hills Express, etc. Any questions or concerns about this policy should be directed to the office. Join Jacqueline at the Rec. Hall this morning to get the know-how! HAPPY HILLS EXPRESS ACTIVITIES WITH JACQUELINE: It sure is hot outside this afternoon! While the temperatures are rising join Jacqueline at the Rec. Hall for a super soaking and cool game of freeze tag! VISIT WITH THE ANIMALS: It's the Civic Holiday and the animals are ready to play! Meet Farmer Fred at the Petting Zoo gates at 2:15pm to feed and pet the friendly animals. HAPPY HILLS EXPRESS HAPPY HILLS OUTDOOR CINEMA: Come join us down at the soccer field for a drive-in movie starting at dusk! Emma and Emily will have a campfire ready for you to roast marshmallows and hotdogs so bring snacks with you to enjoy! Park your golf cart, bring a chair or sit back and relax on the bleachers provided while you enjoy our family flick! The rain date is Saturday, July 30th at 9:00pm. FLEA MARKET SET UP: If you purchased a table at the Flea Market, you may begin setting up the table with your name assigned to it at 9:30am this morning FLEA MARKET: Looking for good deals and priceless steals?! If so, you are in the right place! This morning, Park Lane has been take over by tables and tables of goodies and treasures the whole family will enjoy! The Flea market will run from 10:00am until 1:00pm so be sure to check it out! BAKE SALE: With all the treasure to be bought at the Flea Market you may work up an appetite! Visit the Rec. Hall to purchase sweet treats from the Knox United Church in Embro. They are fundraising for a mission trip to Nicaragua in February 2011. AVON CLEARANCE SALE: There will be an AVON Clearance sale on the deck of lot 319. Most items will be price and there will be a free draw for a $100 gift basket! Last year this sale raised $140.00 is support of the Children's Hospital and the goal is to surpass that this year! HAPPY HILLS EXPRESS ACTIVITIES WITH NATALIE: Feeling Sluggish this afternoon? Have no fear as Natalie is playing a million games of tag this afternoon at the Rec. Hall. She'll have you back in form for an afternoon of swimming before you know it! HAPPY HILLS EXPRESS ADULT VOLLEYBALL (16yrs of age and older): Both old and new are welcome to participate today at 2:00pm in some Adult Volleyball fun! Come join us for some laughs at the courts this afternoon at 2:00pm VISIT WITH THE ANIMALS: Zookeeper Fred has a whole zoo full of animals he would like to introduce to you! If you would like to enter the magical adventure that happens in the Petting Zoo, join him this afternoon at 2:15pm at the gates. HAPPY HILLS EXPRESS ADULT DANCE (19years of age and older): Don't be lazy, go crazy tonight at the Rec. Hall during the Civic Holiday Long Weekend Adult Dance! Doors open at 9:00pm and the fun won't stop until midnight! The Dance will be featuring the band Movin', Grovin' & Verhoeven! Please note that photo ID is a must and all drinks must be in plastic cups- please no cans or bottles! The draw for the BBQ will take place at the dance tonight, so don't forget to purchase your tickets in the store or from any Dance Committee member. Please remember that the Rec. Hall is smoke free. Also, Spanky's will be open from 10:30pm - 11:30pm during the dance.

Just a reminder that there is no eating or drinking in the Hot Tub or Pool area. Children 14 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. As well, during Adult swim there are to be no children in the pool, hot tubs or on the deck. Adult swim is for campers 18years of age and older and we appreciate that you follow these rules! Children under the age of 6 are prohibited from entering the hot tubs. On the same note, children are not allowed in the Adult Hot Tub at anytime. If you have questions or concerns regarding the pool or hot tubs, the office will be happy to address them. Thank you!
