In the English department, there are 350 undergraduate males, 150 undergraduate females and 50 male graduates while in the department of technology there are 100 undergraduate males, 110 undergraduate females and 50 male graduates. QUESTION ONE (COMPULSORY) In their course work, some students of Institute of advanced leadership were asked identify a pertinent issue, develop a research topic and hence write up a research proposal. Most of them were perplexed and did not know how to go about everything. As a student who has studied research: a) Guide the students on the appropriate procedure they should have gone through in order to successfully write their proposal. b) Outline to them the format of a research report. The counseling and psychology department at IAL wishes to reduce the service time students spend in the dining hall during meals. This is to avoid affecting classes, some of which are conducted in the same hall. A simple research is due to be carried out using observation to collect data.
