In line with BPIs commitment to make things easier for our customers, we are upgrading our card system and will be enhancing the format of your credit card statement effective August 2011. Kindly refer to the next page for a sample of the new statement of account. In your new statement of account, you will notice the following changes and enhancements: 1. Your Regular and Special Installment Plan (SIP) limits will be combined to form just one credit line, which will be called the Credit Limit. You now have the flexibility to utilize your Credit Limit for regular or installment purchases, or a combination of both, as long as you do not exceed your total available credit limit. Buying on installment is now easier no need to call to request for reallocation from your regular limit to your SIP limit! The computation of your minimum amount due remains to be 5% of your regular purchases plus the total monthly amortization on your installment transactions. 2. Now, you can view a summary of your outstanding balances per card on the first page of your statement. The first page will continue to reflect your Total Amount Due, Past Due Amount, Minimum Amount Due and Total Outstanding Balance. 3. Credit card transaction details will still be found on the succeeding pages of your statement, and are presented per card with the corresponding cardholder name. Transactions of your supplementary cardholder/s will continue to be reflected separately. Account transactions such as payments, finance charges, late charges, and other fees will be displayed separately under the corresponding credit card type where the charges are being billed. 4. Rewards Summary a. Your Real Thrills Rewards points will now reflect the points earned, points redeemed and available points for redemption. b. For BPI SkyMiles and BPI SkyMiles Platinum MasterCard, total miles earned for the current statement will still be reflected. c. For Petron-BPI MasterCard, you may now view the total rebates earned for the current calendar year. It is our hope that these enhancements will lead to improved customer experience for you, our valued cardholder. Should you have questions or feedback, please call us at BPI Express Phone 89-100 or email us at expressonline@bpi.com.ph. Thank you for your continued patronage. Sincerely,
A. Definition of Terms
