In his 16 years of work experience he has seen the food & beverage industry from the eyes of an employee, an investor and as a consultant and has also written articles for popular food & beverage magazine. Sohrab worked for 6 years with the Taj group of hotels and then entered the field of stand alone restaurants; he has successfully spent more than 10 years in the stand alone industry thus a total work experience of more than 16 years in the hospitality industry. Sohrab restaurants plays hosts to some of the most successful socialites, celebrities, bollywood stars, tv stars, sports personalities , fashion designers, models, CEOs, Industrialists and politicians andheis well networked with the most successful people in India. This casual pan asian dining restaurant and bar is based on the belief that aman is nothing but the sum of the food he puts in his body and the thoughts that flow in his mind. It boasts of the finest dishes from Vietnam. Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and China and has a huge variety of dimsums and teas. In short at Chi we weave ordinary South East Asian way of life into dining experiences. This award winning restaurant is also very popular for its takeaways and home delivery.
