ThetragedyofKashmir,somesay,liesinthefactthatthisbeautiful,almostlyricalparadiseonearthis tingedwithdecadesofmelancholyandgrief.Whilethehistoryofthisland,particularlypostthesigning ofTreatyofAmritsar,offersagreatinsightintowhythevalleyisoneofthemostvolatileregionsinthe subcontinenttoday,equallyimportantisanattempttounderstandKashmirasitsvariousstakeholders seeit. TheGandhiDialogueInitiativeatYouthforPolicy&Dialoguelooksatvariouscriticalissuesandgivesa research lead positive approach without undermining the forgotten human story to such debates. Throughaninteractiveforumthatstudiesdebatesasprocessesandnotjustasevents,theaimofthe sessionistofindsolutionsaftercapturingdifferentperspectivesofthestakeholders.Namedafterthe man of the century, these dialogue series aim to set dialogue as the precedence to all encompassing solutions. The session looks at exploring different perspective on the Kashmir issue.
