SATISFACTION

The Feeding of Five Thousand begins with a large crowd

following Jesus to a deserted place. When Jesus notices the crowd he begins teaching them. The disciples then suggest that Jesus dismiss the crowd because it was getting late and the crowd needed to buy something to eat. Jesus did not wish to dismiss the crowd so he told the disciples to feed the crowd themselves. The disciples then said that they did not have enough money to buy the crowd food but they had five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus then told the disciples to have the crowd sit on the grass and Jesus then broke the bread and fish and gave it to the disciples to distribute; everyone ate and everyone was filled. The disciples had concern, Jesus had compassion. Not only did he feed them, but there was enough left over to fill 12 basketsful. The Homily started by a quotation of Buntot mo, hilahin mo. If we have compassion, it will urge us

to do some actions, in giving time and effort to help alleviate suffering, in being effective in our community. We are challenged to share to others the least thing that we have and through this, God will create miracle. We should always believe in miracle because God also believe that we can make miracles through unity and sharing. We should give something to other people and without expecting of any return.

We should be thankful for every blessing that we receive and be satisfied for everything that we have. should live without asking for more. We may have the power and expensive things that can be bought by money but we are not satisfied. We may receive all the attention of other people but we may feel that we are incomplete. But if we receive a wonderful smile that can ease someones burden and a simple gratitude from the people that we offered LOVE. a help, we may experienced satisfaction and we may realize that not everything can be bought my money especially God has set on this earth all that humanity needs for food and development and we

Prayer: Compassionate and merciful Jesus, I open the door of my life and receive you as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving me of my sins and giving me eternal life.
