Andreas Wahl, CEO of Radio FRO 105.0 (Linz/Upper Austria): It was a personal matter to take these items into our program. I think it's important that we lead our own listening habits to the limites, but also those of our listeners again and again. I have the hope this will create more openness in the heads. We are very grateful for these two radio shows. Mario Friedwanger, managing director of FRS (Bad Ischl/Salzkammergut): With Indian E-music we can offer a program that is dedicated to the immense richness of Indian music culture in addition to Bharat Radio, an Indian travel magazine which is produced inhouse. The FRS listeners have a great demand for electronic music. The promotion initiative IMC - India meets Classic provides both: pulsating sounds of the Indian subcontinent in connection with electronic music. - A warm welcome in the FRS radio family and thanks for the dedication. In times where India is overspeeding China by an annual economical growth of >5% till 2025 and meanwhile a German Bank (Deutsche Bank) is lead by Anshu Jain of Indian origin, its more than ever important the Western world gets a growing understanding for Indian mentality by knowledge about Indias culture. Indian Classical music is the eldest music system in the world still existing from where even Western Classical music has its origin. The unique radio shows from Hamburg cover topics like philosophy, anthropology, music ethnology, history, music pedagogy along with biographical datas about Indian music maestros and Indian instruments to promote an inter-cultural dialogue between South Asia/India and Europe. The promotion initiative IMC India meets Classic had been founded in 2005 to establish new music therapy program, based on Indian Classical music by promoting an inter-cultural dialogue between South Asia/India and Europe via unique radio formats which follow the self given policy as InfoEduTainment program the financing by sponsors for social weak classes with psyche illnesses is based on an increasing media coverage, internationally. This strategy was part of the concept from beginning on. The world economic crisis since 2008 let slow down to come this target closer. With the latest media data the growing radio market is a branch segment within medias which is recovering quickly since 2010. With the new and own IMC radio production studio which was setup during the annual summer break in June 2011 the promotion initiative IMC India meets Classic can guarantee a high qualitatively production standard.
