Dear Palivela, This refers to your application and the subsequent discussions we have had with you. We are pleased to inform that you have been selected as a Technical Associate at Grade TG1 in our organization. Subsequent to your joining the Company, you will be eligible for an Annual Salary package of Rs. 3,07,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Seven Thousand only). Please refer to Annexure 1 for breakup of your salary package. You will also be entitled for a one-time settlement allowance not exceeding Rs. 15,000 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) if eligible, as per the company policy. The detailed Terms and Conditions of your Appointment shall be issued to you at the time of your joining the Company. You are required to sign a service bond with our organization. As per the bond, you will be required to serve the company for a period of at least 2 years from the date of your joining , failing which you will need to pay a sum of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) towards damages to the company. The bond should be attested by one surety from your side. You are required to mandatorily possess a valid passport and PAN card at the time of joining the Company. This letter of intent is valid subject to your being found medically fit by the company appointed doctor, satisfactory completion of your course, meeting the set eligibility criteria at the end of your course and completing all necessary documentation pertaining to your Employment. We request you to confirm to us your acceptance of this offer by signing and returning the duplicate copy of this letter , which in any case should not be later than August 4, 2011 and also intimating to us your date/month of joining . i) Group Term Life Insurance Coverage: You would be covered under the existing Group Term Life Insurance scheme of the company applicable to the Associates in their respective grades, which provides Life Insurance Coverage worth Rs. 10 lakhs for the Associates in all grades upto TG2/SG2/MG2. The insured amount is payable to the nominated beneficiary / ies of the Associate in the unfortunate event of his/her death while in active service of the Company. ii) Hospitalization Insurance coverage: You would also be enrolled under the existing Medical / Hospitalization Insurance scheme of the company with a cover of Rs. 3 lakhs (floating cover) applicable to Self , Spouse, 2 children & 2 parents. The actual cost of coverage of parents (if opted for), however, will be borne by you. If enrollment of parents is not opted for, the applicable cover (for self only OR self +spouse+up to 2 children) will be Rs. 2 lakhs. * Special Allowance in lieu of Variable Pay shall be disbursed on a monthly basis ** Calculated notionally at the current basic pay and for one year of service. However, the eligibility for payment is only after five years of service and the actual payout would be higher when calculated on the basis of the salary (basic) at that point in time. # Statutory Bonus shall be paid as per the Payment of Bonus Act, 1965 and shall continue to be applicable to you till the time your salary reaches the appropriate level as prescribed in the Act. Subsequent to reporting for the initial training or posting, you shall be entitled for a one-time settlement allowance not exceeding Rs.15,000/- towards travel & movement of baggage, initial hotel accommodation and deposit for residential accommodation subject to production of relevant receipts / lease agreement. This amount is recoverable in case of cessation of service within 1 year of date of joining
