    E MPLOYMENT O PPORTUNITY
    WearecurrentlyrecruitingforthepositionofAssistantITManagerforourVancouverfacility.Variousdutiesfor this position include, but not limited to, designing, setting up, configuring, supporting and maintaining Windows networkssuchasMSServer2003\2008,supportingCitrixPresentationServerandVMWareESXservers,maintaining IT support, service and maintenance documentations and logs, troubleshooting and resolving Servers, PC, printer andnetworkproblemsandparticipationinrotatingoncall24x7ITsupport. This is a fulltime position, reporting directly to the IT Manager. Working some weekends or offhours may be required.Mayrequiretravellingtoremoteoffices45timesayear(23weeks)

    Qualifications: MinimumcollegeortechnicaldiplomainInformationTechnologyorrelatedprograms 5+yearsofcurrentexperiencedesigning,configuring,implementingandsupportingWindowsnetworks KnowledgeofWindowsServertechnologyincludingdomainservers,Exchangeservers2010,SQLDatabase Servers,TerminalServersusingCitrixtechnology,VMWareandActiveDirectory GoodunderstandingofTCP/IPnetworkingconceptsaswellasfirewalls,routersandswitches ExcellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskillsinEnglish KnowledgeinVBScript,MSSQLDatabasemaintenanceandSQLlanguagesaswellasMSSharepointan asset Thispositiondemandsgoodteamwork,strongtroubleshootingskillsandtheabilitytoprovideeffective supporttoalargeanddiverseendusercommunity CandidatemustbewillingtotakeonresponsibilitiesbybecomingateamleaderandassistingtheITManger withadministrativetasks
