Lab value alterations caused by medicine
BUN, AST, ALT LDH, serum alkaline phosphatase, bilirubin and creatinine may
be transisently increased. Hemoglobin and hematocrit concentrations may be
decreased
Be sure to teach the patient the following about this medication
report signs of superinfection (black, furry overgrowth on the tongue; vaginal
itching or discharge; loose or foul-smelling stools, and allergy. If fever and
diarrhea occur (blood, pus, or mucuc) - don't treat diarrhea without consulting
doctor.
