Monthly Facilities Audit minimum 1x per calendar month

Procedure Building & Facilities Exterior surroundings are free from litter, waste, pooling water and potential contaminants to attract or harborage of pests. Racks in warehouse areas are adequately away from walls and unobstructed by at least 18. Pest control program is effective and records are being kept. --Trend Analysis Sanitary and Hand Wash Facilities are in good working order and stocked with hand wash and paper towels and have adequate lighting and suitable water temperature. Locker rooms are clean and have adequate lighting. Essential glass or brittle plastics are not damaged. 1. Windows in production area. 2. Covers on overhead lights in the production area. 3. Time clocks & IFS screens. 4. Misc PSI gauges. 5. Machine guarding (Plexi glass). 6. Overhead lighting in shipping/receiving warehouse. 7. Emergency lighting in warehouse. Rubbish disposals are clean to minimize the development of order, or attractant of pests. Walls/floors and ceilings and other structural areas are clean and in good repair to prevent contamination and/or harborage of pests. Fixtures, ducts and pipes do not drip or condensate which could contaminate packaging materials.

Procedure Ensure all main doors are secured and in working order. Signs directing employees to wash and/or sanitize hands before returning to work and stating the allergen policy are in place. Personnel Employees have been trained in the GMP and Hygiene Requirements. Employees are following the GMP and Hygiene requirements. Equipment All equipment is in good working and clean condition. Only food grade chemicals are being used in the production area. Receiving, Transporting, and Storage Chemicals are stored and labeled correctly. All products received are stored in their original packaging and stored in the appropriate storage area and clean from contamination. Finished products and packaging materials have been appropriately stored and clean from contamination. Pallets are clean from any pest activity or damage.
