3986 CE) Revamping websites of Public Sector Organizations Phase 2 (ICTA/CON/QCBS/P5/389) Request for Expressions of Interest The Government of Sri Lanka (GOSL) has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of the e-Sri Lanka Development Project. The Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) is the implementing agency of this project. ICTA intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit for revamping 30 websites of Public Sector Organizations. ICTA has taken initiatives to revamp thirty (30) websites under this assignment by equally splitting across three (3) lots; Lot (A), Lot (B), Lot (C) (each lot containing 10 websites). ICTA wishes to engage web developing firms to revamp these three lots on the basis of one web developer (Firm) will be engaged for only one lot (details of Lots are given in the Scope of Services). It is intended to host these websites in Government Internet Data Centre. The website contents should be available in all three languages (Sinhala, Tamil and English). Using Unicode fonts, following W3C standards and Government web standards are mandatory. Websites should be developed using open source content management tool. ICTA now invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible Web Developers (Firms) to express their interest for this assignment. EOI must include all requested information and documentary evidence to demonstrate qualifications, previous experience in carrying out assignment in similar nature, technical capabilities, appropriate skills and experience and availability of facilities and other relevant information. The Scope of Services and EOI Information Form documents are now available at ICTA for further information. Interested parties may download these documents from the website www.icta.lk. Web Developers (Firms) will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004. All interested parties are informed that all documents should be issued in English Language.
