To Whom It May Concern: My name is Ifreke Edem, I am enclosing this letter as my formal application presenting my diverse background, education,

and experience. I have acquired over ten years of experience, working in several aspects of the media, beauty, fashion, marketing, and public relations as it pertains to greater business administration industries at large. My enthusiasm is within the use of strategic event planning and retail administration as creative tools for brand partnerships and presence in terms of fiscal acquisitions; in terms of my unique approach to outstanding customer services, brand partnerships, and key attention to detail; while realizing the importance each one has to the other. In the past, I have worked as a Product, Department, Group Division, Store Manager, Account Executive, and Senior Merchandiser for a variety of specialty retailers including Sephora on behalf of the L.V.M.H. Group, CVS, Nordstroms, and Federated Department stores; as a Regional & Marketing Accounts Executive for CHANEL Cosmetics where I devised promotional strategies & concepts for the cosmetics & fragrance line. My procurement strategy has won me top sales awards while also benefitting the retailer & brand s regional hourly, weekly, monthly, and annual goals and revenue. My merchandising exposure includes hair care, cosmetics, clothing, accessories, fine jewelry, lingerie, shoes, fragrance, and specialty foods. I enjoy working with the public, international populations, and educating other consumers. I pride myself on being able to contribute an example, through my participation that better reflects this perspective. I look forward to this opportunity, true Marketing for me means bridging the scope between markets further translating them into an expansion that yields greater successes on a national retail scale. My Statement of Proposed Intent for Marketing Promotions & Strategic Consultation Include the following projects *Devising a Catering Menu as a means to strengthen outside business vendor partnerships by way of future business meetings & event planning; thereby creating corporate appeal. *Social Network accessibility and promotional branding through the various social media networks and blogs as a way to provide both email blasts and further launches. *Monthly themes by way of the major holidays and social demographic specific holidays. For example creating a target consumer specific theme for the upcoming Valentine s Day holiday to include: Carolina Kitchen s Valentine s Day Soul-full Brunch featuring a select dining and drink menu w/ local performances and select dining specials.

*Reaching out to further media sources (e.g. Washington City Paper etc.) and syndicated radio programming such as WPGC and WHUR for example to provide ad campaigns, press junkets, new branding, audiences, and further interest in the C.K. establishment. *Participating in local DMV specific and national events including Restaurant Week & taste of DC for example. Possible projects to include a College Month to reach out to higher institutions such as local University of MD and various other entities. -Revision of the dining menu to further embrace the greater consumer communities at large such as Vegetarians and ethnic nationalities. -Creation of a Signature Dish that C.K. can be both recognized and known for. -Visible Food & Dining Ratings (e.g. Zagat etc) -Innovation of the Dessert menu -Making the Food Reservations process more accessible. Each in attempt to address the strengths, threats, and internal weaknesses or hindrances to fiscal acquisition.
